I am actually quite satisfied with the types of items carried by the stores now. All the special items would be more fun to discover during the course of adventuring and/or events. Items gained in this manner are more fun than the ones picked up from the shelf of a store. My favorite items at the moment are Flail's +2 flail of fire and Sheritomo's Weeping Willow hat. Both are just mid-level items but they were obtained in memorable events.
What I really want to see is a way to get unique-looking items. Things like the gold chain crown really make a world of difference when equipping PC's like Golem.

My wishlist contains clothing with AC bonuses (ie not armour) for the monks among us. The 20,000 different colours of wizard robes and or Gi look stupid on a monk, I would like something that looks a lot better than them. ;D

Ild really like a belt or boots to immune from petrification. LOL. Sorry man. We're really trying to temper down or limit immunity items.

There will be no Immune items, those that are floating around currently (should be very rare) are from the NWN2 stock items, and were handed out during DM events (my guess at least)
Feat granting items will also be in rare supply, if made at all (Im not making them).

Heres a suggestion I worked on - Night-Screaming MaceWhile the mace is not the most popular weapon among rogue-like killers, they certainly are among the most blunt of them, and this mace is a fine example of just that. It is slightly lighter than an average mace, but it has a unique pattern with half sphere-like plates attached to each side of the mace, which are significantly harder and more solid than the other parts of the mace.
Some old stories tell of the first type of this mace being forged by a vengeful and black-hearted blacksmith who used it to slowly club-to-death his enemies in the night, and some stories even go as far to say it was his own family that he slaughtered.
Weither the stories are true or not is unanswerable, but this is certainly an undoubtably vicious weapon that would be more than fitting to give a deserving death to the user's enemies.+1 Attack bonus, +4 Bludgeoning damage
Requirements: Must be rogue, must have chaotic alignment, must have neutral/evil alignment

Lesee, sold by merchants... sold by merchants...
lemme pull out my DMG and do some thinking...
i'd like to see figurines of wondrous power for the various summoning spells
I think the horn of valhalla would be great, but the brass bronze and iron versions may be a bit too strong for merchant shops.
Golem manuals! just do them like baldurs gate did, summon up a golem for a short time.
hmmm, lots of summon-up-allies items so far, lemme think of something else...
I'd like to see the blackrazor from baldurs gate 2, though that would be waaaay too strong for a merchant store...
but if there were to be a powerful evil sword to be had, there should be a powerful good one, i'd suggest the daystar.
here are some stats for the swords, approximations of their BG2 stats.
Blackrazor +3 longsword regeneration: vampiric +3 immune to fear on hit constitution drain save DC 14 massive criticals 1d6 haste 3/day
Daystar +3 longsword, +5 vs. undead sunbeam 1/day damage bonus vs. undead 1d6 damage bonus vs. evil 1d6 slay undead on striking save DC 14
that was pretty fun, i should work out some of the other BG2 items in nwn2 rules.

...Just to let you know the Blackrazor and Daystar would have roughly a Level Requirement of level 23-27ish... Plus no immunities will be put on items.

Heres another suggestion! ;D
Beregostine Illefarn Falchion
Illefarn was great elven empire located around the Sword Coast during the early ancient times, that flourished in trade and culture, made advancements in science and in the arcane arts. But after Orcish invasions and large human migrations into their lands, the elven nation began to decline. The rivalries and rebellion among the several elven nobles split the lands, and eventually elven dominance would fade away.
Today much of their remains and ruins can be found along the Sword Coast, but much of their art and knowledge has disappeared into history. Altough some modern treasure-hunterers claim to have found ancient scriptures and even recipes of weapons, armours and items which were used among the Illefarn elves. Many rich nobles and merchants across Faerun have bought these claimed treasures, and even gotten elven experts to decipher the meanings and words of these scriptures.
This falchion is an example of the many of its type developed around Faerun. This model is claimed to have been made at the Thundersmith in Beregost, with the blacksmiths aimed to reconstruct an ancient weapon just as it was or as closest possible. But even if its properties and ingredients are not accurate with the actual weapons used in ancient Illefarn, most experienced warriors across the Western Heartlands agree that this is indeed an exceptional weapon.
The blade itself is curved and with a long edge at the end. It has several small details on the hilt, which are made of enchanted ivory, while the handle is covered by Cerulean-coloured leather.
2+ Magical Damage, On Hit: Daze [DC=14] [Duration: 5%/ 5 rounds]
Requirements: Must be either fighter/ranger/wizard/cleric, must have lawful/neutral alignments.
(Uses Elven Falchion from Adonnay's Elven Weaponry Pack)

Winterwolf Cloak Beautifully white, soft and truly elegant. This is a cloak made out of the fur of a winterwolf.
1/- Cold resistance +1 Charisma
...
Icewind Rapier This enchanted blade originates from Targos, one of the Ten-Towns of Icewind Dale. It was enchanted with the request the blade should be as cold and biting as the winter winds of Icewind Dale itself. Whether the request was met is unclear, however, anyone forced to face this enchanted rapier in combat have quickly changed their minds about trying to find out.
Though the wielders of this blade have rarely fallen in combat, they have been infamous about catching common colds more often than not. Thus making running nose the most common characteristic feature shared by it’s wielders.
+2 Enchantment 1d6 Cold Damage Keen - 2 to Fortitude Saves
