Item skill points will stack up to +50 I believe if you can find them, plus your skill ranks you put into it at level up, plus your Stat mod affects it, and if you take any feats that boost it...
It is actually quite easy to get some insanly high skills.. and incase anyone is wondering SoH is a low-Medium magic world... so no it wasnt like I bought some +15 PP item.. most I had was a +4 skill item.

In regards to gold, it should be noted that normally in PnP D&D your limit to how much gold you can carry by weight just like anything else. 500 gold pieces is 10 lbs of gold which is not light in any event, but I have had my character in NWN with many 1000s of pieces of gold with no penalty (3,000 GP = 60 lbs).
Gold pieces weigh in at 50 coins per 1 pound, but nothing in NWN has such a factor, so I would suggest thieves get 1D10 pieces of gold per either level of the rogue or per rank in pick pocket, so Ice would have gained 55D10 or 55-550 gold pieces per pick pocket on SoU.

Quick question... how many times can someone pick-pocket you in one day? Is there a rule for this?
Thanks! Cor

I was pickpocketed 6 times in less than 10 minutes yesterday... by the same thief. So I guess there is no limit.

I was pickpocketed 6 times in less than 10 minutes yesterday... by the same thief. So I guess there is no limit. pickpocketing should not be going on atm until safeguards are put in place. dms have stated this more than once. send a pm to a dm and let them know who did it.

Blame is correct. No PP should be going on at the moment. We tested this theory out with one infamous character, and he blew it not only for him, but for all other rogues right now. If you PP, expect there to be consequences. -Ice

I'm not going to name names, but one major thief was talked to and rules set into place to allow him to PP while not pissing other players off, and yesterday I heard all kinds of reports about him, while some of them were unable to be proven most of the people he pp'd did testify to certain actions he took which was in agreement to the rules placed upon him...
HOWEVER do to the sheer number of complaints he has been told not to PP until further notice, and if anyone sees or is the target of ANY PP as of this moment, screen shot it and send it to me, Ice, and all of the other DM's.
At this point it doesnt matter who it was or even if they got caught, as PP is off limiters per Jfn,Ice and myself (other dms havent said much).

Even still, I have a lot of pelts in my inventory. Our thief can have a couple if he needs them.
