I think that at this point this is just an issue of patience. The developers have already admitted that this was not what they intended, and that they are trying to fix it.
In the meantime, might I suggest our rogue-types spend the time roleplaying instead of dungeon-crawling? Even sneaky loners need friends.
And enemies.

Just want to say that my patience is running thin died 5 times today just off traps twice off remains 2 off poison traps off ore in the bugbear mines and one off a floor spot i had just walked off of. If they hit for alot less so they were just a annoyance it would work better but a lvl 7 area having things traped doing 60 damage on a lightning trap and 3d6 con and 3d6 con 2ndary is just retarded everyone on this server isnt playing a insainly high hp meatshield or 90 reflex evasion beast its really making it impossible to lvl other then from questing and rp xp. forgive my annoyance but come on this trap script has got to go or be really tweaked soon.

start praying, that they can get it fixed soon i got hit for 37 dam, not long ago, in hilltop ruins. luckely i stabiliced

On my 5 rogue 3 bard i've not run into stacked traps yet but of course i'm in UD mainlly see traps at fire goblins and the like.
