My thanks all, it is my pleasure to have joined the Fist. Today I completed my observation period and accompanied one of the Cpl.s on his patrol through through the land of Baldur's gate. It was everyting I had expected and more. Only through the fist can these lands protect the innocent and it is with great honor I join their ranks. I hope to prove worthy of their service and uphold the shtandars which the FF enforces within the sword coast realms. I will perservire to become all I can within the Fist and preserve and maintain the peace in the realm. Perhaps some day i may command the armies and guide Helms hand though these parts to a greater peace. My thanks for the opportunity, I look forward to meeting more of the Fist and to never stop learning what it has to offer to all of the creatures living within these parts. My only wish is to better the lives of all living these palnes. i thankk thee Fist for the oppoertunity.
//ramble ramble ramble, i know. neway should be fun. looking forward to it guys. Xation would have appeared within the courtyard of the fist compound and hurriedly spoke with the guards present. after which they ushered him inside to find him a private area to work on his account of the murder of lan the paladin of helm.
his account as follows
we were returning from the south lands with a young warrior by the name of sin. upon reaching the outskirts of the wolves hunting ground we found two heavily dark cloaked individuals. lan at this point pointed out the female after listening to her talk and warned us that she was not to be trusted. the cloaked female was greatly agitated and made several threats. her companion was likewise displeased. lan remarked that she had mood swings, to which the other cloaked individual agreed with. at this point we excused our selves and continued up the trade way past the wolves hunting grounds to the caravans arriving shortly after nightfall. sin departed and made his way back to the city, lan and my self idled there a bit resting from the long trek from the south. shortly after we had sat down i heard a female voice whispering threats, emanating from the darkness. particularly that she was enraged that the member of the fist had insulted her and that she was going to kill him. at this moment i cloaked my self with invisibility and began searching for her. a moment or two passes, lan seems to be talking to thin air and the man the woman was speaking to earlier arrived to sit down as well. i informed him that if i witnessed any hostel action i would assume he was in on it and target him accordingly. a few moments pass and i heard metal piercing metal, turned to see the cloaked woman from earlier striking down lan. i quickly responded, disabled her with magic, which prompted the cloaked male to rise and take on an aggressive posture.. i used what remaining spells i had to escape that place and traversed directly here to make my report. i feel confident i can identify the woman if i spend some time again in her presence, though it is impossible to give a description of her as she will undoubtedly simply change her dress.. as, likely will her cloaked male friend. most probably they hunt me now'
xation would then linger around the barracks awaiting council from the fist on these events before he departs. [which is cool if you rp it out in a response here]
///// ooc note. the female involved was rai kuu kynttilla. male kataklysm

After a long and slow trek , Lan slowly enters into the Flaming Fist headquarters with a slight hunch. Arriving several hours after Xation due to a trip to the healers he makes it in, still in obvious pain. Attended to at once he is escorted to the commanding officer's office.
Sir, I have some urgent news of an incident involving myself and several others which occurred just hours earlier this day. *his voice strong and somewhat empowered by his anger, yet still kept in check*Sir, I was on my way back to the gate on duty from my patrol escorting a young man by the name of Sin from Beregost. A friend of mine, Xation by name, had accompanied me on this trek. It was just on the northern perimeter of the knoll inhabited lands along the Trade Way of our journey, we had encountered a woman clad in black whom I had met several times before. She is an I'll tempered rogue who has no respect for the law or anyone whom she feel's to be of less power then herself. She has shown kindness to me but once when I had first arrived to the Gate, however that was the end of that. Several times later while in the company of others I assume to be her companions, she had shown complete and utter lack of respect with threats and the pathetic need to enforce her dominance over those she deemed weak or of a righteous path, thus revealing her true nature to myself on these occasions.
It was upon this next encounter along the Trade Way I felt it my duty to inform my companions and warn them of this potentially dangerous nature of her's, telling them to beware of "her mood swings," revealing at the same time to her a lack of respect I deemed her deserving. This, apparently, she did not like which she had voiced, most likely with a threat as she had done so unprovoked before, tho I can not remember her words exactly. I should note she did this with clear knowledge of my status as a Flaming Fist officer. My companions may be able to give more detail as to what she had said, but I remember the shock they expressed of one talking to a member of the Fist as she just had. We had then arrived at the caravan outside of Baldur's Gate, bidding goodbye to Sin then sitting by the fire to ease our tensions of the long day of travel, when a whisper out of the shadow came.
That is all I remember, for next I awoke by the fire blood spewing from my gut. Luckily my training had allowed for me to remain somewhat conscious and hold clear enough thought to bandage my wound and slow the blood flow with a healer's kit I had. Speaking briefly to another man, somewhat clad i the same raiment as this rogue woman, claimed he had played no part and gave an account of what had taken place. He remembered hearing whispers of a woman and the sudden flash of a dagger from the shadows entering my back (through a seam in my armor upon inspection) and then protruding through my stomach. After which the black clad women who had struck me down ran after a mage whom I can only assume to be my friend Xation. I then made my way to a Cleric who properly tended to my wounds.
now, here I stand.
After Lan finishes the report and talks with Xation over the incident, he goes on to give further thought as to what it has revealed to him and how to begin the investigation. Clearly this is not a dead end incident and Lan expresses several leads as to how this woman might be identified and expresses his outrage as to what this would do to the image of the Fist should people realize they can openly oppose the Fist in such a way and get away with it. "One such as this should be made an example to all" he expresses pounding his one fist into the palm of his other hand. None, no matter how powerful should get away with such a crime... She may think she has the greater power to overcome but one officer, but she has nay the power to overcome the brotherhood of the Flaming Fist.
he adds, "i do not mean to outstretch my bounds, i am but a humble Private and await my orders on the matter." *he says somewhat abashed as he realizes how he has lost his check on his anger and let his passion for justice overstep his place of office*
//detailed more in next post.. sorry if this is getting too long lol

"That stlarning outlaw bitch! Gods take her!" The Highknight Justin Crownsilver snarled after listening to young Lan's report.
"Twas time we felled that evil little bitch delivering the realm once and for all of her tireless attacks on the Fist!" Justin said with a toothy grin that was not at all pleasant after which he brought both mailed fist down hard onto the desk causing the duskwood to both crack and splinter.
With a curt nod, the angry Fist lieutenant dismissed the young private. Then sat back in his chair plotting murderous revenge for a one Rai kuu Kynttilla.

As I joined the fist and was escorted by Lt. Crownsilver on my first patrol to Beregost, a young lady reported that just at the edge of town, was quite a commotion. The Lt. and I went to the location of the troubles to find the Captain of the Lathander Guard standing amidst the body of a middle aged man, who now lie dead by the sword of the guard.
The Captain and his men caught this theif and one other in the act of grave robbing, as they tried to run, one of them by the name Camborrl escaped into the Hedge Estate; the other was slain by the Captain and his men. Upon our arrival we found that one of two graves at this site had been in fact dug up, and the body molested for the valuables. Those valuables were found on both the corpse of the grave robber and the other in the possession of Camborrl. After looking over the grave and now open coffin of still yet to be identified man; the Lt. and I headed to the hedge to see if we could apprehend the escaped robber. As we reached the estate a Red Wizard approached us, yet invisible. His involvement in this is still to be determined, yet I am sure he is somehow involved.
As we questioned this Wizard, a chicken was tossed from the door of the Wizard Thalander's estate, this chicken was no ordinary chicken as he begged the Lt and I for help, explaining a Wizard had changed him to this chicken. As we questioned him, it was deicided that it be best served to see the Wizard of the estate to see why he had been changed and if he could be changed back. The wizard indeed changed him back, allowing us to recover a ring that matched an amulet found on the corpse of the fallen robber. The symbol has still no been identified, but the Priest of Mornignlord is looking into its history.
The Lt. and I returned to the grave site to further investigate; when Camborrl told us he had been paid by the fallen robber to loot the bodies of both graves and carry the coffin and the remains to another location. By unfortunate chains of events we had to exsume the other coffin to search for more clues as to who this couple that were moved to this location after their deaths were, and why their corpses were to be moved once again. At this time the Lathander Guard and the Priest of Lathander have moved the graves to a more secure resting spot, and my investigation of this crime is still ongoing, my hopes that either the Scholars of Candlekeep or the Priest of the Morninglord will discover some history of the couple or the matching amulets and rings found on both bodies, this may explain why someone wanted these bodies dug up, and what evil they meant to do with them.
More reports will follow as we learn more about this crime.
In Service to the Duke Eltan, Sativa Blunt, Knight of the Flaming Fist.

Patrol Report of Sativa Blunt
I have been patrolling the road from BG to Beregost the last few days, nothing out of the ordinary, and no incidents to speak of.
It was reported to me by Te'alis Avondail (I believe) that a Young Warlock, dressed in white garb, and bald headed has been attacking people at random, claiming his is testing his spell powers. I have not located him yet, and so I do not have the full story.
