I don't know if this is intentional, but in any case, here is my report. I am getting a little more XP since yesterday. Monsters that gave me 66XP are giving me 69, for example. Tested in different areas (minos, orc chiefs) and pretty much all mobs I tested gave me a little tip. Except the very low ones like wolves and gnolls, that still give me 8 or 5.

As a general statement, a good number of things regarding xp have changed. You all should notice little differences here and there.

I believe we're aproaching the perfect xp reward . Im very excited. The game is much more balanced now.

Perhaps the lizardfolk still give a tad too much? I leveled from 4 to 10 in the matter of a couple days grinding in there. It only takes my character one blow to get one and it's an easy 20-30 xp. They respawn so fast, it's the best place I know for grinding at lower levels right now.

When was the last time you killed Lizards SirC?
I believe they have been tweaked. Try them again if you don;t mind.

They will be updated (again) soon. They are still weaker than what was intended.

The shamans I think are fine,casting doom and inflict,Maybe boost the warriors and chiefs.

Yes, what Otomo says is the perfect solution, making them harder is nice.

I upped their levels by one and added about 15-20 hps per mob. I tried them again yesterday after the update and they are much more in line now.

Scale surface monster to UD levels to be fair imo people will be shocked how hard things are in UD.

Things probably feel harder in the UD because most every UD race is shacked up with +2 or +1 ECL, and the way this server does ECL, you get hit twice for it.

I think that's part of it, but I've heard people compare the starting monsters in both areas (I myself have no surface pc's) and they mentioned that monster difficulty is also quite a bit greater in the UD.
I myself don't mind that there is differing levels of difficulty, but I can see how people might think it unfair.
