Just a slight concern, i like the new appearance changer, it is convenient and you dont have to bother maltz and cause a traffic jam at his shop just to do some personal grooming.
However, we seem to have lost a helluva lot of weapon models, there used to be twenty or thirty for the greatsword, now i can choose between... seven? mebbe eight?
any chance of an increased number of weapon models? i'm not really sure how the changer works, so i dont know how easy or difficult it would be to add more options.
this is, of course, a minor qualm, but just something that i was wondering about.

I'll talk to Otomo about this. I to would prefer the second one. What we need to do is add the old one back on a seperate NPC. I have had a chance to look into this now and from what I can see, as a general rule there are only a handful of Appearances for any weapon. Wearable items were obviously the focus of the developer of this particular add-in. But the good news is that it is completely possible for us to create our own Appearances, it will just take someone actually sitting down in the toolset and doing it.
Other than this, I am still interested in finding the coding for, and learning more about the old appearance changer that was used. Does anyone know where we got the old one from?

The Idea of custom items/weapons/armor is a lover!! We need deity cloaks. Cloaks with the symbol of our deity on them.

Appearances meaning only what is possible in Toolset. In order to add completly new models or appearances to toolset Ill need 3DMax, or Maya (pref Max) and an importer for the the file... something I dont have nor the time do dink with -Ice

Lol i have 3dmax. But is quite big to send it to ya..... Do you send m,e a PM with some tips and explainations and i can try to make something for you to work with. Care to take a shot?

There is a blender import/export tool on the vault. Blender is freeware and is popular with the modders of other games.
I am too lazy to spend the time it takes to learn modelling. I have a copy but I am still learning the commands. It is a slow process. Maybe over the winter I will be bored enough to try harder.
