my question is besides the wolf quest from jorn is there anyplace i can just lvl up as i am still lvl 1

next area from farmland - with wolfs - open map, find camp, go there, find cave, go there, find bandits - level up - then go to gnolls or weak lizards, then.........

yeah plenty of places to kill things, also with the new beta coming hopfully this week you will see about 12 new quests being added into the game as well.
Being a cleric it should be easy for you to level up.
