I am not sure if we have already discussed this I know I have added a lot of input in previous threads take this one for example. I was thinking when killed by a npc mob there would be a screen that popped up that would ask you wait for help or respawn which means if you wait for help more and likely people that are in your party (cleric) or whoever can res can actually res you. I am not sure if you can res the person when they are dead heading to myrkul or not. Also with the sub dual mode I was wondering if you were going to have it so we could switch it on and off for the whole pvp reason, At the moment I really like the idea of it always being on but just for other sakes having it switched off puts more reality in some cases. Though when you just create your guy is it already automatically turned on if you want it off either use the pc tool or right click your character and turn it off. Again these are just suggestions for some other means. I myself I am a baller so I do enjoy when it is off and someone kills me and the spoils of war is the xp they get from my corpse -Thanks, Ryokami.

I to like having the pop up screen option. Maybe we can add this at some point in the future. As for sub dual Im not sure about that one.

I like the subdual method for PVP action, and yeah sometimes out right death is just nessicary to get the point across, if you ask me if your going to PVP someone with potential fatalities, ASK the player if hes ok with that first, and snag a dm to bear witness to make sure no ooc hostilites break out.

Sub dual. I'm not sure how this is supposed to work, but here's what I have seen. I've killed quite a few players and it has always just knocked em out for 60 seconds, never once have I touched the sub dual tool. When I have messed with the sub dual, I get no kind of message or anything so I can't tell which "mode" I am in.
The only time I have witnessed a player actually get killed is when a pet is involved, they will continue to attack when the player is down and they will continue to attack a player that is stealthed or invis.
For that reason, I only use my pet to serve as a distraction, if i don't want to kill a player but it would be OOC for my drow to say let an elf be. IE, i think i did this with pandoriah once, I knew OOC she would kill my pet so I summoned it and said something like, "i'll let my pet deal with you" and walk away. Using pets to actually kill playerrs and to mess up stealth/hips is IMO a huge exploit for pvp.

Yea you are correct, the pet is a bug to where it will kill the player if rendered unconscious by a PC.
And Sub dual mode is automatically turned on in game and cannot be turned off due to the fact of the xp lose in pvp combat.

Pop up menu would be great! As it stands right now I think that is a main thing that needs to get implemented as there would still be your Body, not a placeable there to rez. The subdual mode I dont care about really, though death would be nice for those duals of epic proportions!!!!! -Ice

I think death from PvP and death from monsters should be different and not switchable from one mode to another or having exploits like pet killing. Death from monsters takes 5% of exp - it is not a small prise even when you are 10 lvl in a half way to 11 lvl yet, and this is a real stress to loose because another player killed you and really strange when your are absolutely not affected by your death in PvP.
Is it possible to make script, where winner in PvP is given 50*lvl exp (for example 10lvl will have 500 for PvP and difference between levels doesn't matter), and the one who lost - dropped dawn in this 50*lvl exp and after death is not taken to fuga, but taken directly to his Temple? (or he can lay down and wait for cleric as much time as he wants)
ps my PC doesn't have that stone of switching modes - its normal or a bug?

I mean really how do you rp that off if you actually killed him? In some cases if you killed him and he spawned in his temple.. the logical reason of why he has just rezed again would be because the priest or their deity spared his life as if he has more use for him after all.

Actually another thing on the topic of death that I would like to see..
Dont fire off the script to take away xp when you leave the fugue, only when you talk to Myrkul and leave should it take it away. I have had players die in my events (fine, happens a lot and we play it off from there) but I like to bring them back from the Fugue depending on the RP route taken for that. HOWEVER when I bring them back, it still takes away the xp. . . which means I need to grant them back the xp since most of our DM's dont like to ruin peoples fun in an event even if you die... the DM "Fudge it Rule" basically.
We still take out the penalty in other manors though, either a lesser reward, or something else. -Ice
