I know you've probly heard this one before but its something DM's used to preach in Moonlight & Shadows: DONT USE AWSD to move!! Apparently because its a more complex process then 'Move from point A to point B using pathfinding'. Using the keyboard to move uses many more packets of information to confer movement then clicking a final destination however small it may be with the mouse! Thats not the only server that preaches NO AWSD, good rule of thumb I reckon

I doubt it. It's only 5am in Europe now. Most likely will be a bit longer.

I agree. Let us get a good hacker to write auto booting code. This is a possibility. I have seen auto installers that do it, however, shady some may call them.

Driller does have auto-restarting in.. the problem is that there was a massive power outage over in the netherlands where the server is housed.. so there is no booting up something without power running to it. Sorry guys.. on a positive note, I have taken this time to make more stuff for items, and finish up adjustments for the update. -Ice

Yar, there's plenty to do while the server is down. I did some reading and flushed out two simple dialogs including some of the BG lore. It should be a nice addition to the server once it's updated.
Yay us! -JPD

a good way for PCs to help with this is by picking up everything you can. leaving mass bits of loot lying around really gums up the works.

Ahem .. that inludes broken items ... If you have a broken item, or any other garbage you don't want to carry ... just go about your normal gameplay, killing monsters and having a great time ... when you finally manage to spawn a chest - take out the good stuff and drop the bad stuff in.
Stand back and watch while all your unwanted junk simply disappears in a puff of reddish smoke.
This will not do anything to slow the existence of 'lag-bugged' containers on the map though. You would need a clean-up script to do that.

I wonder if the power is still off? Does anyone have any news postings for this mass power outage?
