OK, here's my suggestion. Take all the enemy creatures ingame and have them fight each other to determine a pecking order of difficulty. That should make a reasonable scale for the exp. Im not saying anything bout exp being too little or too much, just some mobs being worth less/more than others doesn't fit when they can be a lot harder/easier then said mob.
One glaring example being the Hill Giants. They are worth exactly the same exp to my level 16 char as the weak skellies in the haunted estate.. 33exp. The only way I can kill the giants is by kiting them. I can easily stand toe to toe with the weak skellies and kill one after an other. Im willing to bet the giants would pummel the stronger skellies as well, which give 115exp. Nobody wants to hunt these as skellies are much easier and better exp.
Another which I believe needs to be looked at are the ogres, seems like ogres should be worth more than a goblin.

Those giants are really mean. The correct name for them is ''Hell Giants'' i think. They must be some sort of a demon in disguise or something Dude they dont even miss.... lol On a pit fight i think you'll need just one of these to kill all mobs of the server... Hell you can even toss the beholder there. Two rounds and hes gone. lol -Raffael

This is something we will be working on very soon. i realize they are out of whack but tweaking them takes time. Hopefully we can get that squared away soon.

I understand man. I was just making fun of fact. I was there with you when we got our butts kicked in Naskel. In fact i was there with you 2 times. I know you must have something personal against those giants I can wait as long as it takes to make things right. Even with some small issues, the server is great. And i did not forgot that this is a BETA, so it is bound to have issues. No problem there. I cannot begin to imagine how hard it must be to put all this together, so you must have my thx, and i know that soon this sort of problem will be fixed. Thx friend. -Raffael

The issue is, the creatures are base templates, its a very very fine balanceing act to take away a monsters strength and still have it be challengeing.

Plz dont get me wrong, i love that the mobs are hard to kill. Id rather they all be too hard to solo. All's im saying is make the hardest ones worth the most, dont tune them down. Leave the "oh shit" factor in and make players team up. I just want the devs to be aware of the mobs that actually are the most dangerous.... IE hill giants scare us more than skellies!

Most of your standard monsters I have made replacements for. And in some cases many of you have already faught these in my events (or others) The Grog: Replacing the standard Gnolls The Krish: Replacing the standard Orcs The Varix: They may go into cloakwood or somewhere with lots of woods The Tainted: May intertwine with the treants in Cloakwood The Bloodspears: Replacing the standard goblins Fallen Crusaders: Replacing some undead, somewhere. More monsters may be created at some point, but the lowest CR I have made is CR 4 with the Bloodspears. Hobgoblins may be lower or the same CR as Bloodspears, prob lower as they should be some of the first things you kill..classic things! In the meantime, just bare with us and know that most of the monsters will be tweaked at some point -Ice

Hobgoblins shouldnt be weaker than Goblins..they bully Goblins around. And the Chill Hobgoblins are tough mercenaries.
