Baldur's Gate Southeast Gate District has been cut from a 20x16 area to a 16x16. Hopefully that will be the end of our crashes.
The player Scry Widget has been added but we will test it for a few days first. Once we decide to release it though no further downloads from the players will be needed.
The Bulletin Board has been fixed, as well as campfires, AFK and a few other things.

Beta 8 and 8_1 News
- This update brings a ton of material. Some of the things you'll find inside...
- All of the quests rewards have been upped. In some cases the reward has been doubled.
- The buyback amount for an item in a shop has been increased in a few of the stores.
- Familiars no longer take a portion of the xp.
- The TLK card game has been added to every Tavern.
- All indoor shrines are now usable.
- New Custom Loading Screens
- Completely reworked surface monsters from CR 0 to 23. This will hopefully allow for a smoother transition from area to area and CR to CR.
- New monsters like Stone Giants, Mountain Ogres, and Mouthers.
- Respawning traps
- Script fixes on numerous issues, some of which are already in play.
- Further fixes to the Underdark walkmesh issues.
- Deep gnomes will no longer receive the feat slippery defense. (+4 dodge AC). As a result, they will now be ECL 2 and have an easier time levelling. If you still have Slippery Defense, it may come out in the next patch.
2 new Underdark areas.
- North of the Tarpits
- South of the Tarpits
14 new areas have been added to the surface.
- Fields of the Dead North
- Troll Claws South & Cave
- Troll Claw Ford and Cave
- Troll Claws North
- The Troll Hills
- Cloakwood Mines level 4.
- Durlag's Tower and 3 Dungeon levels
- High Hedge Estate
- The Crystal Frost Castle Interior
- Mount Speartop
- Temple of Bane Interior
A few other things of note...
Durlags Tower is set up for a group. You'll have trouble if you go there alone. There is a ton of traps scattered throughout the place. Yo prevent rouges and other sneak classes from soloing there is no HiPs or Stealth allowed in the 3 interior areas. The creatures all have a very high spot. So find a warrior, and a rouge, and maybe someone to raise the dead.. ;D
