Ok I figured I would give applying a shot. I have been a DM on nwn 1 before but, not nwn 2. I am a fast learner though so it wouldn't be to hard for me to adept. I honestly have never played baldura's gate 2 but, I do have some decent ideas for events and have ran some in the past. I enjoy rping and try to help everyone out I can. I keep a cool head about things and don't instantly flip out on people. If you guys need the help I would be more than happy to help out.

I'm new to the DM client, but I've been playing on NWN PW for about 4-5 years now including Forgottens Realms Cormyr. All the servers I've been on have had a roleplaying edge. I'm no novice to realmslore and my areas of expertise include: Drow and the Underdark, The Sword Coast & The Silver Marches. I'm a fast learner when it comes to interfaces, and I believe I have a pretty good imagination and would be able to run a good storyline. I'd like to put my hand up for an DM who is in a AU/Euro/UK/NZ friendly slot.

Well Radium you would be the second guy to sign up for the EU slot of DMing.. JLF should be contacting you soon enough on that one. Once we have the EU team, and the EST team gets straight then we should be good on DM's Hurray! -Ice

Alright everone you should be seeing new DM's in the server!
EST: DM Ice, DM Wing-Zero EU/AU/NZ: DM Barnewitz, and DM Radium
We now have a couple DM's for each major timezone! This means you should always (or pretty close to) See a DM on. We hope this furthers things and makes your stay a lot more enjoyable.
Thank you to the players and the staff and the coming DM's for making this one of the best servers!

The server is accelerating at an awsomely fantastic rate, and more peopel are noticeing that there is a Baldurs gate server up and running, (And in beta 4!). I have seen, in the past few days at least 5 new players, many of which I have helped to settle in and feel comfrotable with the server.
If we keep going at this rate....whoooo boy.
I know we are still pretty small, and with 6 Dms in various time zones we have pretty good coverage, but i hope you would consider me for, heck even a fill in or simple assistant to make the dms quests/events/lives easier.
I feel confident in my ability to bring RP to the mass's, when you decide and if you need and want me..
Consider this my offical application.
Cheers----Thomas
I am very glad to see a sword coast server. I don't know how long this server has been up, but I have not seen it in the past few months so I am assuming its new.
I am thrilled at the concept of playing on a server that takes place on the sword coast!.
Introductions, of course introductions.
My name is Thomas, and I'm twenty three summers old, and a DnD nut through and through. I have been playing DnD since I was TEN, and 95% of that time was spent Dming PnP style. I have been playing Nwn1 for about four years now, and recently moved to Nwn2 when I got a new graphics card for my computer.
I am a forgotten realms lore nut, especially for certain factions/deities, and if I don't know it off the top of my head, i can find the answer as I literally have every FRC source book five feet from my computer. I am a sticker for the evil factions such as the Zhentarim, Shadow Thieves, Red Wizards, Cult of the Dragon, Church of Bane, you get the idea. My old nwn1 server, I have led several factions (at different times of course) and played characters from every spectrum, from good to evil.
Personally I found nwn1 very limiting character wise, at least mechanic-wise. I believe one can have very good RP with out having awesome stats, but with Nwn2 the character options are much more alive and in-depth. I have one character for example on another server who is a Knight of Mystra, hes a recreation of my nwn1 char, Owen. The Nwn2 options, really allow me to get deep down and creative (such as Owen being an Eldritch Knight).
I do have extensive experience with the Nwn1 DM client, which is not all that different with the Nwn2 client (Of which i am fairly adept at using), and I have over 13 years of PnP-dmings (especially in the forgotten realms) to support this. I'm not going to ask to be a DM right off the bat, because it seems the server has a few already, and with a relatively small player base, too many dms early on leads to too many events, and to much chaos, I know this from experience,
I was the second in command for a nwn1 server set in the land of Thay, and we took too many dms on way to fast, everyone spent time dm side, and not player side.
I hope to see some in-depth and cunning RP in game, and I hope to meet the dms!. Hopefully, if you deem me worthy and responsible enough, you will consider me for a higher position in the future!.
I'll see you all in the dark ally ways!
