Ok I realize the game seem to have a lot of spells that are very good for summoning the undead or undead type creatures as pets or bodyguards. Some are pretty kewl to use and sometimes helpful , I'll admit that.
In the Realms the creating or use of undead or undead type creatures as body guards in public would be considered a crime by almost all the gods and civilized lands (even a lot of the evil gods as well as not all have dominion over them directly).
The creation of undead or undead type bodyguards is a choice of the character not something you are required to do and considered an evil act universally in the realms.
You don't "have" to do this, and most times when it is done it done in the realms it is done in secrecy or in an hostile manner.
((( the necromancer doesn't show up in town with the undead to party cause it's halloween night. He/she is there to create chaos and defeat you in battle.)))
Most places it be considered a hostile act to use the body of any dead soul, as this decrates almost all religions in the realms burial rites.
all "good" aligned characters, and most "neutral" and a few "evil" should consider this a hostile act, (specially if they using one of or possiblely using one of your ancestors as the undead) up there with rape and murder. (((OMG he dug up nona ))))
Now realise this could conflict with some PvP rules on site. and trying to avoid an sort of griefing situation.
my question can characters take someone flaunting the undead as a servent as a PvP situation in the areas outside the city
(((this situation did come up with another character and I, we seemed to have handled it ourselves in an decent manner without getting into a grief situation)))
not saying automaticly jump to attacking, but rp things out "please release that soul t the outer planes" character responce no make me sort of thing.
Seems like a grey area when out in the wilds. What a good algined character to do ?
