I believe I discovered an exploit concerning monk gloves this morning.
I logged in with my Troll Gloves equipped (+1 attack, 1d6 Acid dmg, 1 Fire dmg). I then double-click equipped my Sharp Knuckle +1 gloves (+1 attack, 1d6 piercing dmg, 1 Bludgeoning dmg). What I noticed is that despite wearing my Sharp Knuckle gloves, I was still doing Acid/Fire damage.
I tried unequipping my gloves and fighting... Still doing Acid/Fire dmg.
Very odd.

This is an NWN2 bug that can occur when swapping any two items during times of lag. Basically, the character sheet does not update properly. I've seen something similar happen on another server. 1. Equip a sword that does electrical damage. 2. While the electrical sword is still equipped, double click a sword that does fire damage to equip it. 3. If the game is lagging, the character sheet will show that both electrical damage and fire damage is added. It seems whenever we tell the game to do a something that requires 2 steps, the game has a chance of screwing 1 of the 2 steps. Hitting the "loot all" button when looting a chest should put all the loot in your chest and then close the chest. Obviously, the game screws up that process. I once saw a server that implemented a -10 or so AB penalty whenever someone changed their equipped items during combat to stop people from abusing this bug.[edit] I wasn't trying to imply you were abusing this bug.

Yea, one could argue that the penalty was worse than the bug.

Lol, yeah that seems a bit drastic, especially for a bug that doesnt even have to be intentional to be activated.
I know that my Low AB character would be hosed to all hell if he had to take an additional -10 when he switched up his weapons in combat.
