As the title says: I suggest a small tweaking done to the Dire Bears that you can encounter out past Beregost (can't recall the exact name of the area, sorry. The one to to your right as you come from the gobbies) I was fighting them with my lvl 11 character (Cleric/WP) My reasoning for this is the following: 1) They hit far too hard/often compared to other monsters giving the same amount if not even more XP. 2) In such a small area, you easily end up fighting not 2, but even 3-5 of them, spelling death instantly. I faced first 3, tried to escape seeing my HP went from max to 1/2 in mere moments, then I suddenly had all on my tail...My character was very short lived

The dire bears used are the default dire bears that came with the game, not the ones balanced for the PW. They will be patched with the next monster update.

They will be patched with the next monster update. Ahh, must have missed that one then. Great news that they are being taken 'care' of as I find it fun to fight such monsters as well. Thanks for the heads up!

Well I metagamed yesterday:
I looked at the map of Beregost and I was like "Where does this go? Sounds fancy!"
*Steps into area*
Hmm *right click* Easy! Awesome! Paws is gonna kill the hell outta these...
Oww... that really hurt...
What's this? "18+20" WTH!? Oh Gods! The bears... THEY ARE MAULING ME!!! MY FACE, MY BEAUTIFUL FACE!
And that's why Paws has a charisma of 8. His face has been ripped off. Sure he's likable, just ugly as sin now.
Felt this was a good place to share yesterday's experience of how dire those bears were! Haha. That being said, I never read the thread on the Bears before, so I didn't know. Still a great PW. Thanks for all the hard work!

I place the motion before the Dev's... I wish to see a Dire Bear boss... leader... whatever named "Colbert."
Or maybe "Ditka."
Good times, good times.
