Josh and I are building the new theatre and we need someone who has experience in building a new creature for instance in GMax or 3D Max.
What we need modelled is a creature that looks like a placeable, for instance a tree or a chair etc. The creature doesnt need to be built from the ground up - we can just copy an existing placeable.
If anyone has that experience shoot me a PM, or write in this thread.
Cheerio.

i need more information about what you're trying to achieve here. why not just use a placeable?

A placeable can be set to have "dynamic-collision". However, after it is respawned (by a lever for instance) you cant set collision on it (the SetCollision only works for creatures), so anyone could just walk inside the placeables that is spawned by the lever, which Josh doesnt want. A creature, however, with the look of a placeable, always has collision, and can be set to "un-bumpable". This is the reason why Otherwise the other way around would be a lot easier.

The appearance changer that the DM Tools have can turn creatures into objects, such as wagons and crates, even ships. Could it not be done this way? Just throwing some thoughts, but I know nothing of the subject, sorry.
