Posted on every street, alley way and gate into and out of the city and at key points through out the farmlands.
By decree of the Flaming Fist and the Dukes of Baldurs Gate.
The man known as Flail has long been suspected of evil intent and has, in the past commited heinious acts of malicy against the people of this region. The night past, he assulted many people on the coast way which snakes south of Baldurs Gate, where he slew many people and kidnapped the holy knight Valek Sunborn.
The Flaming Fist and the Dukes Council have had enough of this man and now offer a fifty thousand gold peice reward for the murderor known as Flail, dead or alive to be brought to the city in confinement and turned over to the authoritites.
Information on the mans where abouts is also worthy of reward, but please do not engage this man lightly, he is very dangerous and is known ot have many undead and infernal allies.
The notices are signed by the dukes and all the commanders and captains of the flaming fist and a rough description of Flails normally black armor and bearing are provided as well as a fairly accurate drawing.

A large group of adventurers confronted the man known as Flail as he walked south on the Tradeway towards Beregost. Only the paladin leader of the party and a lone archer dared raise their weapons against the man. The others stood back and watched helplessly as the warlock cast down the knight who assailed him. Turning quickly to face the source of the arrows that had been bouncing off his mithril plate, Flail spied the offending elf and sent him sprawling with a single blast of pure acid.
Four people gathered around the fallen paladin and branded the victorious warrior with the tag of murderer. This unwise taunting proved ill to them.
"If I am called a murderer I may as well be one."
With those words he released a powerful spell. Three of the four dropped in an instantaneous death. The fourth ran away, alive but grievously hurt by the soul-rending invocation.
The rest fell silent and did not lift a weapon to oppose his departure.

Berel Greenwillow brushes bread crumbs from his breakfast at the Elfsong. As he steps out of the door into the noise-filled streets, he shields his eyes from the morning sun's blinding rays. Once his glowing eyes were well-adjusted to the sunlight, he scanned his surroundings as was his custom. His eyes locked quickly onto the bounty notice.
"All these years...and it's finally happened."
Berel moves swiftly, weaving through the crowd, on his way to his next location.

Even after the hefty bounty was placed upon his head, Flail had been reported many times as moving openly around the Tradeway and approaching travelers to converse. No attempt to capture him had been made since the encounter in which he had killed 5 people.
This brazen defiance of the law has apparently ceased of late. No indication of his activities have been noticed for the past several weeks, nor is there any indication as to where he may have gone. It is only to be hoped that he has met with death while journeying in some distant and dangerous land.

After reading the bounty, he disregards due to the possibility of an encounter of Undead. Keeps his ears open for something more of flesh.
But thinks that the gold would be useful.
