Was wondering why lizardmen shamans are clerics instead of druids at least me seems more fitting.

Beats me. Probably to make them a bit harder. But the PW is changing at each new Beta, so, dont expect anything to last for long. Things are always been improved.

While it would make more sense for the shamans to be druids, or even spirit shamans, I also believe this is tedious nit-picking. I'm not trying to be insulting with this post, because it is a valid point, but I'd much rather see Save Character Location, Chests, Traps, and the various other bugs fixed before something like this is adjusted. This is up there with pointing out typos in descriptions and dialogue.

There is nothing wrong with Lizardfolk Clerics. Huminoid Shamans have always more commonly been Clerics than Druids as their interests lie with their own kind and concerns, not protecting nature and balance as Druids historically have done. In the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, Semuanya is the deity worshipped by the lizardfolk race in many campaign settings. Lizardfolk tribes often contain shamans and clerics who derive power from the worship of Semuanya.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semuanya

Ah, I love these forum topics.
Yes they are clerics. I tend to play around a bit with their spell choices a bit trying to find the right mix to throw at players.
Some of the other npc shaman are sorcerers, and some may end up being druids down the road. Some are even customized to have unique spell sets.
I'm experimenting with the nature casters a bit with the troll hunters and they seem to be working out well.
At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter too much which class they are. I tend to look more at which spells I'd like them to have. I just try to avoid the insta kill spells as it tends to spoil some of the fun when something spawns in back of you and wammo, you're dead.
