"The deep gnome has lost his slippery defense" Why would we do this? The deep gnome has the +3 level restriction already, take the slipprey defense away and he's just Drow or Duergar, which they only have +1 or +2 level restriction. It was hard work for alot of us to get our deep gnomes as far as we did, we loved our characters, and now there diminished. There is nothing special about being one anymore, and why would anyone want to make one now. If we do keep it this way, then they should be moved to a +2 level restriction. and current pc's should be leveled up accordingly. I need some feedback on this. signed "Rendalyn the Depressed"

Has it been removed? We were working to remove it and make gnomes ECL +2, but I don't think it worked.

If we do keep it this way, then they should be moved to a +2 level restriction. That was what they did, I believe. Previously they had removed slippery defense and move them to +2 ECL. However, the patch broke it and now this latest removal of the AC bonus is just fixing the fix that was broken.

Thanks for your help I'll look into it now. If we can do it live, we'll push it out soon. If it requires a hak update, it'll likely have to wait until the next major patch.

Our files show that deep gnomes are ECL +2 in beta 8.5
*EDIT: I found a script for pc levelling that was still set at ecl 3.
I'll adjust and push it. It won't take effect until the next restart.

While you're at it you should force total baldness on the deep gnome males, per the Underdark source book ;D

I pushed the new script, but the deep gnomes may be at ECL 2 now even without that script which takes effect on the next server restart.

Sorry. This was something we did a long time ago, long before you two joined. We had the Gnomes set up at ECL2 with no slippery def but Patch 1.22 broke our scripts. But otherwise this has been in place for a while. All this was was a fix to our previous scripts.
