Just read this thread for the first time, and I gotta say, thank you very much, I pissed myself laughing. "without much thought for balance" -Posted by a player of a Genasi RDD Fighter. Yes, you abuse the hell out of a Prestige Class, but when you find a critter you can't deal with you want to speak up about how it's unbalanced?? GG

I'd suggest you actually fight these guys before making a statement souljaa, seeing as how you couldn't have fought these guys at your level. If you are a simple melee sword swinger, you won't even be able to do much to these 200 hp nightwalkers with their 15 DR. A cleric I was playing with would not have even been able to touch these guys if it was not for Divine Favor. If you can manage to solo these guys with your 26 AC and +1 weapon, then sure call me a complainer.
As for your general statement, I'll have to ignore it simply because you do not seem to know what you are talking about. I already had a discussion in game with jlf2n about Earth genasi RDD's, and if you want to have a discussion about overpowered classes combinations I'd suggest you visit the epic character builders guild at the bioware forums and start your own argument.

Don't take it too personal Infernal, I'm not saying your complaining at all, just that they are standard monsters and your power build can't deal with with them. As for making my own demi-god, na it's cool cheers, there's a number of builds I could abuse if I wanted to but I find the characters get boring to play and while useful in the OC, I don't see how they fit into an RP server. With power builds the only real problem is that nothing is a challenge, until, as you have seen, you come across something that is just simply not within reach without help or specific items. As for fighting the nightwalkers no I haven't, I play a rogue and at level 9, and generally at times when the server population is low. He can't even walk into the undead cave because of the combat restrictions. Can't fight orcs solo because there's a good chance the tough ones will easily fall him. But I don't pipe up and claim any form of unbalancedness (I also make up my own words at times ) with my character not being able to fight these enemies, because, he obviously can't without assistance. Doesn't mean that those critters are unbalanced or too tough, it just means my character needs company -if- I decide to tackle these areas.

My stance was never to single out one type of powerbuild infernaldragon. I'm sorry if you took it that way. My problem was with EG/RDD being a cake walk class from such an early level. sure there are other more powerful builds. But none that basically give you a free ride after your first few levels.
So if you guys want to keep the RDD class you'll have to get used to having mobs offset you like the Nightwalker and the Hill Giants. Other classes won't have as much of a problem with Hill Giants as most melee can take the damage they dish out. Plus we want to make to where some things require at least a semi group.
