BETA 4 Launched 7/7/08. Info inside

A new version of Worldgate is needed. It's quick and easy, and here's how.

1. Open your control panel and remove the current Worldgate you have installed now.

2. Click HERE to download the new version of Worldgate. Open this folder and copy all of the contents to your desktop or any other folder, so long as it isn't the NWN2 folders.

3. Type the name of the PW in the top line. In the lower left corner there is a button that says "From URL" on it. Open it and type this into it : 81.216.76.26/driller/worldgate

4. Close the box and hit test and exit. Start downloading.



The new Beta 4 is a large update of over 300mb. 4 new haks,

Shirtless Saga Volume 1.
DMCB: Yeoman of the Greenwood
Heed's PC Tools
Everfire Forge Swords Pack 1.50

14 new or updated areas have been added. 4 new dungeons, 3 new exteriors, custom creatures, sounds and animations. There are also a few new quests added to Baldur's Gate and the Farmlands.

Question.

Where is the server? it was there, now tis gone.

WG is now returning "server not found." I take it this just means the server is offline at the time I hit the "test for new" button?

yeah if you are gettin a 404 error that generally means the data server is down for the time being, you could try to redownload at some other point..

Great to hear the haks are in, however this is slightly good and bad news for players. As the haks have been added I will be in toolset more now workin with the new items... top priority is new armors, helmets, and HOODS! New swords will also be coming in, and old models going out as most NWN2 stock models look retarded.

Ill need to look at the Everfire Forge and see what I am workin with on that one, havent seen it before. Shirtless Saga will be good for those burly folk or topless warriors.. it also adds in some other goodies that Ill be usin.

The Fugue plane door dosen't work im stuck and cant get into bone castle to respawn.

Also the not corpse disappearing on log off might need to be tweaked b/c when someone crashes they have no way of getting raised

Wait, we can have hoods now? Sweet, hopefully they are decent looking. Can't say I have looked at any of these haks before, but I have used Heeds... quite useful, that.

When the PC relogs, the corpse should be recreated.
