I've downloaded the HAK's and PWC files, but when I try to connect to the server, I get an error that reads "Required Expansion Pack Missing". I ran my updater, and I'm as updated as I can get, yet I still can't connect. Anyone else have this issue?

I think I have SoZ, and I just read a lot more into the posts here. Is the server still using MoTB, and I over patched??

you would not have over patched since the server is up to date on the latest patch, did you install the OC, MOTB and then Soz, or do you just have the OC and Soz installed?

I'm not sure. I reinstalled the game today after having issues with it a few months back. I ran the updater at the end of the install, and I know that I'm at 1.22. How do I check if I have MoTB?

If I don't where should I get it? In your program files/atari/neverwinter nights directory, you'll see a file called nwncdkey.ini. These are your game keys. If you've installed SoZ, you should have 3 showing up in that file. One for the main game, one for MoTB and the last for SoZ. If you only have two, I'll take a guess that you're missing the MoTB key.

Check you installation disks of what you have. Mask of the betrayer is an expansion like SoZ. You can play the pw with SoZ but none of its content is usable yet so it is not required. You must have MoTB in order to play since the content of it is used.

I see. I'll be digging through a mound of cd's for it then.

You can also buy from atari.com www.atari.com/us/games/neverwinter_nights2_mask_of_the_betrayer/dvd_rom?dd=1

I bought my expansion at target, it was on clearance for five bucks so I couldn't pass it up.Whats funny is that i bought the expansion and then the OC. Only costed me 25 bucks. If i had known i was gonna have so much fun with it. I would have bought it when it first came out.
