Aye Playing an Assassin and I have 1 pale master to whit Alchemy So I need to be able To make Potions Poison and Traps However seems as to this date there are No mats available for This fantastic skill witch I think Is a Must for any caster rogue assassin bard ect And I alone can Use Days Only on Crafting Stuff as long as the mats are available true merchants mobs quests gathering tools ect So I am asking kindly that you implement this as soon as possible like when you are adding new mods\beta this week I must say I also want to see more different Cloths\armor ect witch I now its all coming but the Alchemy mats Is really in demand ;D Come on Crafting makes the whole game 10 times better For RP PVP Quests Soloing .... Even more personalized Character ... Its All GooD. ))

lol well considering on how Im on the only item crafter for the time being.. its a little tiresome to DM, make items, respond to the boards, work, have a personal life and please the wife lol. For the time being I dont think Ill be making any more items untill we get our Haks settled.. that way Ill have some nice things to work with. Players right now have already been buying and trading goods out of my created items, you should be seeing a lot more of those unique goodies floating around.

Crafting does work right now - I've actually experimented with it and the system is currently functional as the default original campaign crafting system. The only thing is, you can't find any of the ingredients because they are not apart of the loot tables. All the devs have to do is include the recipe items as part of drops (I'm not sure if this is a simple process or a time-consuming one, but I'm guessing its time-consuming) but they will be the ones to decide whether to add them or not.
I do not think adding mats for alchemy is a big priority right now. There are too many things that need fixing (like the fugue), too many issues that need addressing (like PvP and xp distribution), and a boat load of areas and npcs that need to be added. I will say the same thing here as I said in the other thread requesting prestige classes - these things will have to wait until the end of experimental stage of beta is complete.

On a side note a DM can always issue these ingredients as quest rewards or base events off of them. In some cases I may start doing this for those that want to use their crafting. However this is always up to the DM's disgression.

I am just not sure on how to do so unless I actually sat on the toolset and worked with it, which I have not so0o0ooo0o yea.

We're in BETA. There's a lot of things that have to be addressed. Crafting will come later.
