If you have experience building areas and are capable of being taught new area design tricks then we need your help. Building out a PW takes time and we could use a few more builders. Please post here if you are interested. No beginners please, unless you have a pretty high level of artistic talent. Thanks.

* Throws in a shameless plug *
BG supports quite a few builder HAKs to so you get to build with more tilesets and placables than the standard NWN2 Toolkit provides.
It has RWS Deep Chasms, Deep Halls, and Pocket Citidel as well as quite a few placables like Drow Caves, City Hak, and others.

hey chaps i'd like to give it a go. i know my around the toolset but haven't really mastered building areas.
my day job is 3d modelling which may actually be a bit of a drawback as the crappines of the toolset frustrates me to no end, i wish i could just build the whole thing in my modeller and export to nwn2.
ideally if you have a relatively simple interior area (like a building interior) i could start there.
mebbe building interiors for sshamath?

A look at what I'm working on. Actually, I just felt like taking a screenshot because I like the smaller size of the toolset moon better than the in-game one and it fit perfectly between the rocks for the picture. And of course, what good is a screenshot if one doesn't share it? So here it is.

The problem with turning the lights on is that then people would see the map. ;D

I would be interested in helping with building an area or two here and there. If you would like some credentials I'd be happy to show. I've had a fair amount of experience with building dating back to NWN1 (though I know both are vastly different). I enjoy working with the toolset VERY much, and if given a general idea/story/history on the area desired, I can turn out a vivid and enjoyable landscape!
Preferably outdoor, but I can do both interiors and exteriors.

Well i'm definatly interested, and now i'm going to have a bit more free time that i'll be done with school. Here's a sample of a lil something i've been working on when i've had the chance. Still have a bit more texturing to do in these areas but they give the general idea

I was fortunate enough to take a tour of Draken's build project, and I have to say that it is very well done and beautiful to look at.
He didn't post screen shots of the beach area, but that's one of my favorite spots in his area build; it's nice to be beside the ocean for once, and there are several other good views to be had in other regions of the map.
I'm a view junkie -- Valerius went to Durlag's tower just to see the view from the top -- and Draken's area is simply stunning with its aesthetic touch.
Indeed, this server has some amazing area builders; great job to everyone involved.
