I know I have only been here for a day and a half now, but I see ALOT of potential for the server and I feel like I should try and contribute some of my knowledge to the server.
I don't know much about scripting (hardly anything really). But I am familiar with the Nwn1 tool set and have a very basic knowledge of the nwn2 tool set.
I will admit my forte is creating unique creatures that the players will remember (and sometimes fear) for years and years. When I was a DM on the nwn1 server of Thay, I generated over twenty unique creatures (Some specific to the campaign such as the Zulkirs and Thayan spawned creatures) but I also created some general purpose creatures that saw great use and were generally enjoyed (and feared) by the player base.
My pride and joy (and my first set of creatures ever) was a line of Spellstiched Creatures, zombies, ghasts, ghouls, wights, and even mummy's!.
I would like to be considered for a developer (Mainly critter wise) as with the new tool set abilities, I have sooooo many options available (Right now I'm working on Moon Rats, firebats, firbolgs and several fell drakes from the MM2 source book). I am also working on adapting my Spellstiched line into the Nwn2 tool set.
Why do this if they might not even be used? Because its fun and its a learning process. I am really loving the easy to use special effects with monsters (My firebat is actually a flying critter thats on fire!).
Normally, as a DM on my old server I was able to create and submit them to the head dm who looked over them, made a few changes and imported them. I then had the ability to spawn, and test them behind the scenes, but as the server has more Dm's then needed right now, it would be of course in the staffs hands for testing before they are released to the public.
Yes, I do take requests as well.
If your interested, when I have completed some of my masterpieces I could submit them for show and tell to the development team if your interested.
P.S-I do have one question about the tool set. I am a firm believer that a creatures description has alot of impact on how the PCs view the critters, but I cannot seem to figure out how to change/create the creatures BIO.
Cheers
Thomas
