Kill first then take all their coin.... easier to PP that way.

Well, 15 gp is lame. A highly skilled thief can steal almost anything small enough. Just look at those street magicians. People with skill can steal your watch from your wrist, and you wont even see it. And considering that most characters keep their gold in a small bag, to reach for a few coins inside the bag is actually far more difficult then stealing the hole bag itself imo.

There are a lot of valuable under 2 pounds that you can pickpocket.
Example:
-greater shadow walker boots -rogue tinkering belt -ring of the assassin -hood or helmet
If I check my inventory I have load of items that worth 20k+ at merchant under 2 pounds.

Right, but as far as I can tell... none of that is PP'able anymore. The only thing ive gotten on many, many tests is gold.. and very small amounts.
Has anyone taken any items recently?

I may have to try leveling my pickpocket to do some testing. Last time I did any was about a month ago and I was getting items.

Lately I have only gotten about 20 gold tops and rarely gotten any items in the attempt. This doesn't bother me really as i usually am just doing it for the thrill of possibly getting caught. Hmm so Nahum can be pick pocketed with a level 26 in the skill..Nice to know thanks cave

Fair warning, anyone caught sneaking anywhere close to Nahum is getting a meteor swarm in the face or turned into a chicken. ;D

lol you noobs have already been beat to Nahums pockets by The Great Pipp Gemini.
Besides I never said Nahum didn't spot any of the PPs He actually caught quite many of them. Fear the Chicken though as its perm and requires a will save. Oh yeah he saw my stealth every time too.

(i.e. it needs to be dispelled by another powerful wizard, the server has to reset or a DM needs to change you back. ) Hmmm... maybe I'll invest in Hellball next. *considers*

well, when it comes to thievery, there's one guideline. the larger the mark, the larger the take.
there was a show on the discovery channel called "it takes a thief." the guy would break into people's houses and come away with 50-100 thousand dollars in goods. granted, he had to return the stuff, but the fact still remains. a pickpocket is a petty thief, a burglar is a moderate thief. if you want to be big time, you have to rob something of a similar level, such as a mansion or a bank.
you aren't going to get rich by pickpocketing, you can only really expect to get some pocket money to buy some food.

You can't dispel Mass Fowl. Neither Mordenkainen nor Remove Curse works (unless it was changed on this PW). Of course, it's a lot more fun to cast Entropic Husk on someone repeatedly, wait a couple of minutes and then watch them die over and over again
