we need to have a new quest for gold then like collecting ork ears say for 50 gold ? New quest for gold? As a joke, I'd like to see Jorn request help harvesting his crops during the autumn months. He could give the PC a scythe and then they'd have to click on each corn stalk individually. ;D Actually, for low levels who have difficulty with wolves (level 1 rogues who don't use bows, anyone?) it might not be bad.

To take this off topic, I would like to see some in-town quests set up.. ones that take place start to finish in BG (and later the other cities). It would help the low level mages and rogues, it would introduce the players to the city, and it would be a catalyst for in-town RP.
I know we have a lot going on with the UD and all, but somewhere along the line I think this should be considered.

It's discouraging though when we possess a NPC in BG and try to interact with them and the run away doing their own thing. (this is even with obvious DM possessing NPC's methods) I know it's happened to me and another DM or two. Not to say that we'll stop, but it doesn't always seem worth it

I was thinking more along the lines of scripted quests.. ye know.. the cliche cleaning out of the basment, errand running, cleaning out of the thug den.. that sort of thing. Nothing that would slaughter a newb, but enough to keep them around town and into the RP before wandering off into the wild unknown.

Try things in UD ie displacer beast fight at 3-6 well at least i do they are insanely hard with 50% concealment. I use play surface but quite deleted chars up there stuff is cake up there compared UD.
