Hey, Well i was just playing around a bit the other day, and i to most displeasement discovered that summons, dominates and companions are sucking up XP counting as a party member... Before anyone whips out to tell me that: "Well you know, it is just like having another team member, so of course it should down xp" I just want to say that, you have to remember that this will mean players will go OOC to that summoner or druid and tell him to unsummon what defines him in melee combat, also the summon is a part of a druid, conjurer or rangers "power set".. I think it is really unfair that the XP is getting hit by something a PC summons or dominates. Will the DEV's by any chance reconsider this ? ;D thanks for your time

In this case, I agree that there definitely should be no cut in the XP since the summons can be a large part of some classes/builds. I've always RPed that my druid just is too drunk to pay any attention to having his animal companion, but he may like it more if the XP difference weren't there. ;D
