*A man, all dressed in black and partially hidden by a black hood, delivers a letter to the Flaming Fists Barraks.
The letter appears to be written in a hurry, and the deep marks of the pen suggests you that someone was angry when wrote it*
Hello there Sir Duke.
I am not a man of bright words or fancy compliments, specially towards a man, so i will cut to the chase and be a quick and short as possible.
I have traveled through many roads, as they are like home to me, and i know how harsh the road can be. But since i arrived here on your lands, i have seen many great things and good people. But not once i was treated like by the garrison stationed in Beregost.
I was traveling from Baldur's Gate, through the dangerous road called Tradeway. After four days of travel and many dangerous encounters, i finally got to Beregost to see my entry denied.
Aparently some crime was commited at the Jovial Juggler, and everyone was being stopped at the town's entrance by the Fist soldiers. Well, no problem there. Its a security measure. Although i believe that if the crime was commited INSIDE the town, the ones questioned should the ones trying to LEAVE, not to enter.
But anyway, i got there and saw three or four soldiers asking people to surrender their weapons before entering town. Again, nothing wrong there. But here comes the problem: I do not carry any weapons. Im completely against all forms of weapons. I said that to the soldier, and after that he said he knew me and that i was a monk! A monk! That is completely ridiculous! And on top of that he said i could only enter town with shackles on my hands and feet! How could a soldier that is supposed to keep the peace and order to HELP the citizens treat a CITIZEN like a criminal!?
Would you put shakles on your feet and hands knowing that this is the way criminals are treated? That was absurd and humiliating! When i said i would not allow them to treat me like a criminal after the long journey i went through, he pointed at the road and said: Well, you know your way back.
That was it. If this is the way the Flaming Fists treat people that have not done anything wrong, then they are not better than any criminal. Tyrrants i say. No good words will come out of my mouth to compliment the Flaming Fists again. Ever. And all the coast will know what tyrrants they are, and how they treat people the way they seem fit, with no regards for justice or even good manners.
That is all.
At the end of the letter you read the signature:
Ujio, traveler.
(Waiting on SirC to emote something....maybe a frown? )
