I have 5h delay between resting, so can't cast spells in every fight. Monsters gang on me and beat me. they're harder and seem to go in packs. I can't rest on some dungeons. RDD is out. Yay!!!! These changes were really needed to avoid the super-hero syndrome. But I would go for 8 hours of rest, that would be perfect. My feedback as user is: this server is way more balanced now. Keep up the good work.

I think eight hours is a bit much, but then again I rarely need to rest as it is. I don't think RDD was so vastly overpowered, but then again I haven't even considered making one and I probably won't (especially now that it has been banned but even if it weren't I probably wouldn't).
One thing I do wish to see is the group AI of mobs more effective. If you aggro a group of Treeants for example and only one is adjacent to you, you can fight it and the others will wait until it is dead to step in and attack. This can be remedied by insuring that you are standing next to both enemies and they will begin to work together, but it does take some of the immersion effect out of the fight.
I like enemy AI that fights dirty and uses every advantage it has to beat me. In this regard, the skeletons in the haunted mansion probably have the most effective enemy AI that I've encountered thus far. If they could see through invisibility they would be ferocious. Hopefully when/if they are replaced by vampires the vampires will also have the same tendencies to try and overwhelm the player as a group.

I think the waiting-in-line-to-be-killed-alone thing with monsters is more a pathing problem, not AI.

I think the waiting-in-line-to-be-killed-alone thing with monsters is more a pathing problem, not AI. Sometimes other monsters just tend to be in the way, making it wiser not to jump in to the fray... It is more realistic that way.

Yeah the monster pathing is something we might not be able to over come. But the monsters themselves are something we are taking a closer look at now. Soon you will start seeing multiclass monsters with better fighting abilities. You can already see some of it in game with Ogres having knockdown etc...
