It seems that today the server instability skyrocketed =[.
My game crashed, froze, and got I the blue screen of death just trying to get out of Baldur's Gate. The crashing happened when I just finished loading, the freezing happens when I am loading, right after the Finish Area Phase 1 Update it fails to get area phase 2 update. The blue screen of death popped up on me soon after I got off the sea sprite. I downloaded the updates from WorldGate, but those didn't seem to help much. I got another freeze after going from Maltz's back into Baldur's Gate and the road south of the Friendly Arms Inn. I don't know if this is from the updating of the server or what, but it got quite rediculous. *Wishes NWN2 had a Metroid Prime style of loading*.

unfortunatly this sort of thing happens sometime with NWN2. This isnt always the servers fault as much as it is the coding and scripting of the game. Youll find all servers have these issues at some point. It thankfully does go away.

My character (Human, if that helps) selected Dwarven and Elven as bonus languages. However whenever I select to speak in Dwarven it is flagged as Undercommon. However it's still spoken in Dwarven. Only a slight problem that doesn't seem to effect anything, but you might want to know.

It shows flagged as undercommon but it comes out as dwarven. I've tried this with my dwarven character.

have you tried to select the language 2 times? usually when I select draconic the bar shows undercommon, selecting it 2 times it makes the bar show draconic like it should

This would be a DMFI issue, nothing we can change unfortunatly. But thank you for letting others know. If Volendrug does have the solution, then please use that.

Me again. Back on the boards after having trouble loading the page. The other day my character Galad Faramil was stuck in the Thunderhammer Smithy. he could walk out the door but was then stuck knee deep in stone and unable to move anywhere but back inside the smithy. I ashed Ice for help and he quickly responded (thanks Ice) by teleporting my character. Unfortunately, wherever I was being teleported to I recieved the message 'could not load the module' and found myself booted from the game. I decided to wait for a reset rather than pester but, when I logged in I was still trapped in the smithy (where I rested so that makes sense). Could I ask for another teleport sometime? Thanks.

There are missing tilesets in the umberhulk caves, three I believe.
The script governing umberhulk confusion should be checked, as when your confused the pc roll's a massive amount of inititave checks.

Teleported and sorted Thanks matey. One other problem, found myself back in the fugue plane (it happens) and when I clicked on respawn I recieved 'Invalid corpse - please report to a DM' So here I am reporting it. Best of luck.

Well, Galad Faramil died again, as is to be expected when fighting too much at once. Unfortunately he is stuck on the fugue plane again and being tolld 'invalid corpse, inform a DM ' again. This appears to be a repeating problem. Everytime my character dies he gets stuck on the fugue plane and I don't know why. Once again I have lost a huge wad of xp to fugue plane problems. It amounts to more than 3000 so far now. Is there any chance of sorting out what the problem is or do I just wait to be teleported as usual and nevermind the xp? I'm sorry to be short but, I have mentioned this a few times. Would it help if someone took a look at my character and found what the problem was?

I play a svirfneblin with ECL+4. I noticed today, when I was level 7, playing with a level 5 PC with no ECL, that I was getting the "level difference is more than 4 levels, you cannot get XP", even though I was and he was getting XP. Maybe the script counts in the ECL when determining level difference?
One other thing. There is a spelling error everytime you level up. It says "congradulations", that should be with a "t", right? "congratulations", unless this is slang.
I noticed inside the cave with undead (north of beregost), that there is an error with one of the doors, ie. there are two doors where there should only be one.
Last thing - I wrote this under issues as well. Bolts at Walts smithy only costs you 1gp even though it should be 3.

I've tested this. It only says invalid corpse - contact a DM. It doesn't take the 5%. You always have the chance to spawn at the inn as well (which I think at the moment does not even take the 5%)

Oh... but there is the 100 xp per level corpse penalty. I think we should remove the corpse penalty and just stick with the 5% penalty on raise.
