I have turned my video settings way down
I have a 7 series Nvidea, 2 gig ram...

Im not an expert, but usually blue screen means memory dump or if the pc is turning off could be a temperature issue. Check your cooler to see if its working ok. I had a similar problem a while ago and all i had change was my cooler. Also if you have two memory cards with 1GB each, they must be the same speed or they can get you the blue screen stuff when you're using both at the same time, which is the case when you're playing nwn2.

Here's a program to help you check your temps: www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php - system temp monitor, it's by the same peeps that make CPU-Z. That'll help ya figure out if it's a temp problem. At idle your CPU (processor) should be around 30-40 degrees Celsius.. your GPU (videocard) should idle about the same, maybe a few degrees warmer [My Q6600 idles at around 35-40(stock cooler) and my 9800 GTX idles around 45-50 (stock cooler, fan set at 60%)this is in a room at around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit . At load, temps should NEVER exceed 75 degrees Celsius. If it turns out you need a new cooler make sure to use a good thermal compound, I suggest Arctic Silver 5.. not the junk that comes with the cooler. Also be sure your case has good ventilation, the worlds best coolers do no good if your case has no way of moving hot air out and cold air in (other than just your power supply fan). Also I suggest writing down the error code you get on the BSOD, then Google it.. that should help ya figure out what the problem(s) is.

Also.. if your system is overclocked.. that might be the problem.

Blue screen of death is a memory problem. At least as far as I saw temperature problems turns off the pc instantly or it continues working with sparsed pauses until your motherboard becomes toast ;D It depends on your processor: Intel processors work at 30-50 as mentioned before, AMD has a higher temperature and it's more dangerous as well.
I would advise beggining with software (this could be a virus) and later check your physical memory (check if they're fully functional).
You can PM me and ask how to proceed.

A blue screen could be a lot of things, not just memory. It is most likely a driver issue. When Windows blue screens, it creates a minidump file. This file is located in C:\Windows\minidump. Follow the instructions below and you might be able to find the exact cause of the crash. support.microsoft.com/kb/315263Thanks, -driller

Gah...the game is becoming unplayable.
I may have built my computer but this kind of trouble shooting might be beyond my tech ability
I have cleaned out the dust with a can of air
did a disc clean up
defragged
Disck check through MS Windows
Installed new virus software
changed all my video card settings to nearly lowest
I have never had these issues in the 2 years or so I have been playing this game.
frustrated

What did the crash report say? that will tell you if it's hardware, which piece of hardware failed,or if it was a program and which one(s) were at fault.
Until you find out what's in the report you're just gonna be chasing your tail in circles.

dang man it has been a while since I've looked. You can get a 9800GTX now for $100.00
Check Tigerdirect.com or Newegg.com
I love both of those sites.
