My ranger can track anything that moves... or so I thought.
Winter wolves of cloudpeak do not appear in my minimap... Are they untrackable?

The trouble with how Tracking works to my understanding, is that creatures have to be spawned and triggered for them to appear as "blips". Sometimes designers/builders of encounters and areas don't place spawn triggers far enough ahead for Track to be of any use, instead setting these triggers a few feet away from wherever the PC happens to encounter the monsters. I suspect this might the case with the wolves you speak of.

it's possible about the skill lvl required. drogo can track everything he's seen on server so far, except the winter wolves. the frost giants in that area show up just fine on map.
perhaps we can chat ooc in game, and compare survival skills?

Sure... I can track the giants as well... But what makes me sad is that I only hunt wolves in that area and I need to look for them just like some wizard without tracking skills

25 for Radha.
I took a look at the WW properties, and found good reason why you should not be able to track them:
While their classes may be Magical Beast, their Race and Subrace are Incorporeal. This is a default classification in NWN2.
Incorporeal creatures, by virtue of being non-material, do not leave tracks for our beloved Rangers to follow.

(I mispoke earlier when I said that Radha was able to track them, my apologies.)
