Rather than posting all my regular characters in my event thread, I thought I'd post them here. This way if other DMs come up with characters, they can all be viewed here. (And if they do, they can post them and I'll had them to the top list.)
Arnoth Detrian is the mysterious, suave and fiscally brillant leader of the mercantile ambassadors from Thay. The Red Wizards have been present in the region for sometime now, but over the past couple of months they have had little time for business, do to a feud between the Red Wizards and the Iron Throne. Arnoth has shown his fiscal and military genius time and time again as his men have always seemed one step ahead of the Iron Throne's military maneuvers. He is a man with means, a man with methods, and a man with no small amount of wealth.
Captain Aegis Feld is a veteran of the Flaming Fist Mercenary company and is often seen as the go to guy for field operations and dealing with unusual threats to the region. He mainly oversees the Adventurer arm of the mercenary company and currently leads the new garrison that watches the now reclaimed village of Beregost, though he spends far too much time in the city of Baldur's Gate, much to his dismay. He has a deep background that only his superiors are aware of, but it's well known that if he needs something done there's a good chance he knows someone, somewhere, who can get it done with minimal fuss.
Captain Aegis Feld was recently promoted to Captain of the Beregost Defenders as a reward for his devotion, skill and bravery during the siege of Beregost, when armored goblins and giants tried to over run the town.
No one knows much about the mysterious ranger from Suldanessalar, but what is known is that he as stern but kind hearted as they come. He is known to lead the path finders of Melikki, an elite group of rangers that scouts out enemy numbers and formations, occasionally picking off a few choice enemies before returning home with critical information. The mans archery skill knows no equal and no one contests that he is thebest archer in the land.
Officer Durndag as a beast of a man in charge of an elite group of Iron Throne soldiers. The man stands almost eight feet tall and some suspect he might have Ogre blood in his veins, but it has not been proven. The region does know his skill of command and his battle prowess makes him a dangerous opponent in the field and he is rumored to have single handedly ripped a Thayan War Golem apart with his bare hands.
He is a rough-looking individual wearing well-worn and travel-stained clothing. His hood is kept low over his face, which is severely scarred and beaten. A battered old short sword hangs at his side when not in use.
He is usually only seen outdoors during the night.
Hurst the Traveler
Hurst is a slim, wiry man who is frequently seen traveling up and down the Coast Way. He wears fairly shabby clothing and all he carries is a small knapsack across his shoulder. It is easy to see that such a man would not be a tempting target for bandits and robber, but it is still a wonder that he has survived unarmed along the treacherous, monster-ridden roads.
When he comes across someone along the road, he greets him with a cheerful smile and a kind word.
To all appearances, Kumby is a middle-aged man with a partially disabled leg. His attire is rather slovenly and his hair unkempt.
He is seen mainly in the docks district of Baldur's Gate, though he has been known to turn up in the Palace District.
The general population knows little of this powerful mage who resides in the school of mages in Sshamath. He chooses to remain behind a veil of secrecy and is thus not seen very often by any others than his close associates, apprentices, and servants. Most of his "public" relations are done through his semi-trusted servant, Sil'Massar.
Sil'Massar is the right-hand drow and personal guard to high mage Mal'Ani of Sshamath. His position of favor among some of the elite mages of the city, plus his own prowess with a sword, have caused him to become very tyrannical to any around him and not in as good a position. Though he still serves his master, he has a tendency to give orders to fit his own needs and is found pushing around the other drow of the city. He is, in particular, quite spiteful towards the female population, choosing to belittle and humiliate them so long as there is no immediate threat to his life. He has been known to kill on a whim.
