It's time to really start pushing the PW, and I would like for someone to take on this job.
If you go to a search engine like Google (<- the best ;D) and type in "Top 100 MMO's", "Free online games", etc you will find a ton of sites that let you post an advertisement for free for your MMORPG.
What we need is for someone to take a standard issued description, similar to the one on the Vault page, and post it on as many of these as we can. Raising the needed $180.00 a month will be difficult without this. anyone who is interested can post here or shoot me an email.

Can the server already work with 30 people connected? otherwise it's a wasted effort...

Agreed. We do need a stress test before we advertise and find out the hard way. Something like extreme lag with 30 players can really hurt us if we dont know ahead of time.

Ive seen it handle 25 with no lag at all. A lot of the lag you guys have experienced so far has came from either the server needing a reset after a long run or OT and the Server owner being hooked up to it at the same time.
They have been working on things like optimization, making the server reset on its on, etc. So when you have both of those guys logged in trying different things out and using a text doc to chat about it it creates a lot of stress for the server. Especially with 20 people logged into the PW along with them. Ive seen the processor hit 100% with all three of us connected to it with the server running. As compared to last night when 25 people were online and the processor wasn't even registering on the toolbar.

Well, performance aside, I will give some free advice, worth every cent it will cost you, guaranteed. A forum is not indexed favorably by search engines, you know. So the website needs a little work and updating. I am not talking about design, images and the like, but about information on how good this PW really is. This is the URL: swordcoastchronicles.nwvault.ign.com/The main thing lacking here is actually what has more capability to bring people in. You need visitors to realize that there is already many people here, playing, DMing, and enjoying. You need to include here a box with server status and number of players online. When I started checking PWs to decide which one I would be playing, this is the first thing I wanted to see. ¿Is there people already playing here? ¿Or I will be alone? From the website, I got the sensation of a very new server that was recruiting staff, but didn't have much movement. Luckily when I entered the forum, I found out this is indeed an active community. Also, you can't have a "News" section with a last entry like this: The curious surfing your website can quickly discard the PW and leave. Instead, just link to the Announcements section in the forum. See, this way you don't have to update the website news... The screenshots are amazing, but include a "more screenshots" link to the sub-forum. Also, another huge resource is the current DM and admin staff you have. Let people know, as this is a big pull for many potential players. A small list of people, with a link to their DM events thread and a funny description of each DM job, or quotes from a few events held. Once the website is up to date in these aspects, *and* be really sure you can increase the server traffic safely, you can start the indexing dance with google.

That was exactly the first impression I had when I came here... Good server, wonderful screenshots, but the lack of a website centralizing information keeps bothering me untill now.
I said I would be willing to make a website, say, a dozen times? But as long as I can play it pretty cool by me.
I will not like a bit the day I try to enter the server and have 1 million players online with a lag worthy of Nessus ;D
