NOTE LEFT AT TEMPLE... I Valldur, who be just arrived to Baldur's Gate, do humbly and with great reverence request a meeting with the Head cleric. IN so-much as I am disinherited from my past I have dedicated my new life to helping those souls liken unto mine, that are in need of Tyr's justice. I am Quick to lend my hand and heart, and also my sword if need arise to absolve the land of inequities. I wish most humbly an audience to discuss this matter further at your first convenience if I not be so bold. Dutifully to you Valldur

Written legibly but not poetically I Valldur Diam, who has recently entered into Baldur's Gate. I am a devoted follower of the great lord Tyr, May his name be praised. I am a novice cleric and have received a call to arms as well as alms after being delivered from a life of drink and depravity by the most HOLY ONE, TYR. I wish only to further serve his name and do his will on Fearun. In this I am confident, that is my trust. I have within one weeks stay, seen a deadly drow burned for crimes against the city. And a great dragon destroy followers of Magics from a land of Thay, and knights of the Throne. There is much injustice in this land and I wish only to help employ this Justice and gain knowledge of Tyr's will for myself and the power to carry that out. Please give some small attention as you are able, I humbly ask. Brother in Arms, Valldur Diam

Upon his arrival to Baldur's Gate, Josiah takes a moment to loosen himself from his sea legs. He then speaks to the Captain of the ship immediately asking for the location of the nearest church of Tyr. Being a faithful follower of the Triad and a disciple of the great Tyr, he often finds it necessary to pay his due respects frequently. Receiving the directions he needed, he promptly arrives in the temple and spends a good half hour in prayer. He rises and then approaches the first priest available.
"Greetings. I am Josiah, follower of Tyr. I am here to finish my apprenticeship as a paladin of Tyr. Allow me to serve under you and I will defend the true faith and the land in which we dwell. My sword and my faith are yours to mold."

A very young armored man, almost a boy, walks into Tyr's church.
His stride is strong and determined, but his expression is somber and troubled. He kneels before the Holy image of the Maimed god, and lays still for almost an hour. He stands slowly.
Now he seems a different man, full of confidence, calmer, more patient. He walks towards the table of the High Priest and leaves a scroll there before departing.
"To the High Priest and all the Church of Tyr,
Please know that my humble person, Talahir from Neverwinter, has arrived to Baldur's Gate. I am still eighteen, and my experience of the world is as scarce as you can imagine, or even more.
Yet I am ready to serve the Church in any need, no matter the risks involved, or the sacrifices that need to be made. I will either succeed or die.
As a first report to this Temple, I just destroyed the monstruous shrine to Bhaal located inside the former Friendly Arms Inn, and dispersed the Gnolls around it. But I am afraid they can rebuild it again easily."

Raist Alden paladin in service of Tyr, is also looking to join the guild. As a heads up to any DM, Raist would most like fit the best in the guild as a Knight of the Mercifull Sword. No good deed is too small for him, and his heart is larger than his biceps

An average man, armor nearly covering every inch of his body, walks into the Church of Tyr carrying a scroll bound by a red ribbon. He pauses to look around at the establishment as he does nearly every time he enters. With a long, deep breath, the man begins his way to the table he has eyed several times before with scrolls from those before him. He pauses once more to see if anyone is around who may notice him, and sets the scroll down gently. He takes a moment to look toward the ceiling and presses two fingers to his forehead before turning to leave the church.
Written on the scroll,
"Dear friends of Father, I have come today to request an audience to become a member of church devoted to our Father Tyr. Father has sent me from the realm of Celestia, and I know now that he constructed my fate to meet with yours. I have travelled this land for several days with not much hope. It was this last evening that I came across another of Celestial Blood who reassured my faith and our devotion to aid all those who suffer.
I await your calling. Atticus"
[Brief character note:] Atticus is an Aasimar who believes that he has been sent to the realms on a holy misison from Tyr himself (the Father reference) and is seeking his own way through a lavish amount of naiveté. Feel free to check his journal entries in the Bio section o fhte boards. May explain more than I can in a blurb at the bottom of a post.

*Valek enters the Temple of Tyr looking for the High Priest. He stops for a moment to say a prayer to Tyr and walks to the room behind the hall and finds the High Priest*
Greetings sire. I have come to you to talk about a recent arrival here in Baldur's Gate. One named Lucious claims to be a follower of the Even-Handed and he wishes to put his hand at the service of this Temple. He will come to you, as I have instructed him and will speak his mind. He seems true in his desire to help the good people of this land with Tyr's justice and vengeance. If it is your will, I can aid him to find his path here. But only after your judgment of course.
*He bows deeply and leaves for his room to pray about the situation*

Tarnoll McQuain wishes to join the Holy Order of Tyr, it being his life goal.
Upon entering the temple of Tyr in Baldur's Gate, Tarnoll finds that there is no priest to assist him. He decides to quickly write a letter, hoping that someone will contact him later.
Dear Holy Order of Tyr,
I know that I have very little heroic deeds to speak of but I implore you to consider me to become a Knight of Holy Judgment. Please, if there is any chance I might be allowed into your Holy Order, please contact me.
Sincerely, Tarnoll McQuain
/Pretty low level paladin (lvl 5), would definitely want to be a Knight of Holy Judgment. //Sorry for not originally posting IC....I just normally save that for the server

////When posting here, try to make some IC posts to help us understand your RP. You can give OOC information on the bottom of the post, but if you post as a letter to the High Priest, or RP entering the Church and waiting for the High Priest, would help a lot, as we could give you a reply explaining things also IC, before the IG meeting.

My name is Bronwyn Stormhawk, I have travelled from Cormyr having served as priestess at the Defenders Temple in Suzail. Prior to that I was an acolyte at Fortress Faithful in Tethyr. It is my wish to offer my services to the Temple of Tyr and support my brothers and sisters in any way I can. May Justice and peace come to Baldurs Gate. May Tyr guide us in serving the people of the Sword Coast and grant us wisdom and leadership. It is my humble wish to join the Temple of Tyr in Baldurs Gate. My duty is to Tyr and the pursuit of Justice, and upholding the laws set in place to protect the weak and inocent.
Bronwyn Stormhawk, Priestess of Tyr
