Please, help the n00b!
1) can I save my chat windows to a log file?
2) I've seen people disarming mobs. Do you retain the weapon? do merchants buy them?
3) do you lose XP when you are killed in PvP action?
4) are there currently dungeons that make some use of rogue skills? (traps, locks). In low levels I found nothing so far.

Found by myself answer to 1). In case others are interested:
Set following things in the nwnplayer.ini:
[Game Options] ClientChatLogging=1
Then the logs are saved to the \Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp\NWN2\LOGS\ directory with name nwclientLog1.txt.
Just make sure you 2 all this in \Documents and Settings\<username> NWN2 directory, not in the install directory which also has these files but they're overriden.

2) Disarming simply drops the weapon to the ground I think, not into your inventory, but Id have to test on this server. If it goes into your inventory, you should be able to sell it as it wont be flagged as stolen (or shouldnt be)
3)You are never killed in PvP, only knocked out. The exception to this is some spells, and familiars will kill you and send you to the fugue. If this happens then yes the standard 5% of your xp is taken from you.
4)As of right now, nothing has been added. But a lot is planned for rogues since most servers ignore them. Persistant Traps, chests, locks to pick and houses to break into are all planned.

Concerning disarm, the PC I saw was disarming orcs, gnolls and the like. Nothing was dropped on the floor, but the mob started punching or switched to a range weapon. What I don't know is if he was obtaining an item. If so, it should be dropped when the mob dies too.

The spell bug is being looked into, but it may never have a fix as other servers have run into this thing as well. As for the disarm, sometimes the item goes into the persons inventory (the one you disarmed) and other times it drops to the ground. Im not quite sure which is in effect. Last I heard the placeholder mobs were not disarmable.. so it shouldnt even be firing off unless someone dinked around with them. -Ice

I am one of the players that uses disarm. In this server it does not work as in the main game. Most creatures that I have encountered can be disarmed but not goblins. Even though I have the improved version, the weapons are destroyed rather being than placed in my inventory.
I have not tried this feat in pvp as I am afraid of destroying someone's 10,000gp weapon. Sometime I intend to buy a cheap sword and do some testing with another player.

I have not tried this feat in pvp as I am afraid of destroying someone's 10,000gp weapon. Sometime I intend to buy a cheap sword and do some testing with another player. Who is your PC?!?!? I will make a wooden copy of my 6.000 axe specially for PvP with you ;D

Sometime I intend to buy a cheap sword and do some testing with another player. My understanding is that creatures need to be set to be disarm'able and that the plan is to do so. As for how it works, it depends on if you're fighting a mob or a PC. If fighting a mob, it will be destroyed. (I think this is because their "weapon" isn't actually in their inventory.) When fighting PvP, it depends on which version of disarm you have. Normal Disarm, the weapon drops to the ground unless you're open-handed. If the latter, it goes to your inventory. Improved Disarm will put the weapon into your inventory.
