Here is a good punishemtn for theft, Loss of limb, Saudi Aurabi style, cut off a finger loose 1 dex, and 5 points on appropiate "finger" associated skills > I do agree with characters below lv 5 being immune to pick pocket, since it can be very disturbing for a newcommer to get robbed, and might leave a sad impression and cause the new addition to the players to leave. Also low level players do not have much, so loosing an item can be a very big deal. I played on a server once where thieves had to use a tool to pick pocket, forcing them to go unstealth and also it give maximum freedom to mods in case of making thier own pickpocket script. as far as i know, there are limits to what you can do with the real pickpocket script. In city areas there could be a chance that thieves would get spotted by guards, and recieving a punishment from them. And a limit to how oftent a thief can pick pocket, would IMO certainly be in place.' To simply protect players from getting griefed.
