There arent any quiver things for at the waist.. otherwise Id have those on armors to lol, that would be cool. As for the helms, there is also another helm that could be added, I think its named paladin helm or something, but its open faced, has the horse hair part but its all metal.. looks more greek than anything.
Those could be cool for faction helms. As for the helm in the above pictures, its wayyyyy to ornate to have any level 1 guy wanderin around in.

The link on Luna's post has some cool helms, including one with red feathers and open face. But the one you're describing looks more like it Ice.

That helm looks wonderful, somewhat Greek or Romanesque. I like it! Howevever, it looks kind of evil... maybe a less evil looking variant would be good too?
And in that picture a few posts up, does that fellow fighting the Fist soldier have a brace of pistols in his belt? What’s up with that? =p
Oh! Also, I think waist quiver would be a fantasic addition to the sever! In real history, archers of almost every army and time period in the world would actually use the waist quiver, for it was much easy to carry while running (with a shoulder quiver, arrows would often fall out of it while an archer ran), and it was quicker to draw an arrow from it as well. Shoulder quivers were mainly used by hunters. Hollywood tends to ruin this historical fact.
Also, if it would rain, water would tend to get the feathers of arrows in a shoulder quiver wet, making them less useful. Waist quivers would have drawstring cover that protected them from the rain. =]
I think this little addition of realism would be a good touch =]

I got this idea after rereading the lore of Baldur's Gate. In Baldur’s Gate, the watch wears distinctive black helms with a vertical red stripe on either side, if you have problems. Not only are the members of the watch vigilant, enthusiastic, wise, and observant, but the Flaming Fist Mercenary Company, over a thousand strong, is based in the city. Every tenth person or so is a member or a watch agent (well, spy) of the Fist, skilled in battle and within a breath or two of numerous armed allies
We could replace the Flaming Fist Mercenaries that patrol the city and guard the gate with these guys...Of course this is just an idea. Nothing is in stone. Semper Gumby (Always Flexible)

The fact that every tenth person is somehow connected with the Fist is further evidence that people should not be attacking, making fun of, or ignoring the Fist within or near the city. They would have no chance. I wish there were a way to auto-jail anyone who attacked them in town.

I used to played on a sever that had Npc watchmen walking around patrolling the city and there were scripts in place, that would allow the nps to locate anyone that was armed within the city. The watchmen would walk right up to you and tell you to put away your weapons, failure to do so was reported to the server admin. However this worked alittle to well, or it was bugged. Meaning the poor spell caster with their staffs were told to put them away, or the watch would just come up and talk to you for no apparent reason, usually in the middle of a conversation with someon else. Still it's worth looking into.....

Better than that would be a script that spawned 10 Fist soldier per attacker, that can fight untill the attackers are dead and in the Fulgue Plane. Then they would disapear, to simulate the return to their posts. Would be a valid script to have inside the city and in the farmlands. ;D

Very rough quite pathetic cut and paste idea for the new FF armor. As you can see, the scabbard clips through the tabards. However this only happens when a weapon is drawn. Old Helms will have slight clipping issues as well unless you use one of the Old NWN2 fullplate torso options. The tabard will cover it so it doesn't matter anyway.

Looks good. How does it look if you put the same tabard over breast plate, chainmail, leather, and cloth?

Looks good. How does it look if you put the same tabard over breast plate, chainmail, leather, and cloth? I'm glad you asked that, for what I can see it's kinda a hit or miss with certain armors. I did create a few of these last night just to give you an idea using an old chainmal and the new helm. Could use them for the Watch. Like I said it these are all very rough, however since the devs kinda took my idea when they created the patroling temple guards in Beregost...I don't mind doing these.

That looks pretty good. I want to see how it looks with the Templar helm now (once it's finished)!. By the way, you said you tried some old chainmail. Did you try the chainmail (or breast plate) from the Yeomen of the Greenwood hak with the tabard? I'd imagine they'd make the tabard to work with them since the same people made them.

That helm looks awesome! Imo it would suit best for leaders of an evil organization, or a very disciplined one. It screams out authority!
