(( NP, Ice, but maybe you should co-run the Iron Throne with other DMs? Just to make it easier for ya. And Shawn, it would be fun seeing something like this, tough my character has hardly any inside information.

yeah there is a gease spell in their contract, those who desert are struck with it wiping any inside information. Though how Ill run something like this is he would be hunted, but to him he wouldnt know why he is being hunted.
Though I think I will be co-running guilds, focusing on any of them may send a message to other DM's or players that no one can help them. So from this point on, guilds are open to any DM or Player to interact with.

Are there any special requirements to join the ranks of Iron Throne - should I 'sign up' in game?

Well I'd assume you'd just have to ask Iceshard ingame when he is around.

Or myself. I am have been useing the Iron Throne ALOT lately.
With the brewing conflict between the Red Wizards and the Throne there are many opportunies to join both, though I warn players I have VERY HIGH standards for what I consider good Thayan RP.

I got to ask, is Iron Throne even alive anymore? If it ever has.

Yeah, my character, Nebbie Silverwits, would be interested in joining the Iron Throne. (Since it makes it all much more easier to take over the whole organization.) But apparently Iron Throne is suffering from fairly bad public relations, something to be fixed by little ol’ Nebbie no doubt. After all isn’t Iron Throne just your average honest merchant consortium?

Ooohh, will you eventually become one of Sarevok's henchmen? ;D

The Iron Throne is now up and running and making grand schemes! Whether they work or not is yet to be seen, but some members would help a lot.
PM if you are interested. I'm still working out some details.

The Iron Throne has been very active as of late, though behind the scenes. So if you don't see them, it doesn't mean they aren't there. ;D

I have noticed a trend around here in which whenever the Iron Throne does something (even if outwardly perfectly legit) the PCs immediately think "EVIL! We must stop them from doing that because we know this organization is evil!". Not so. The Iron Throne is to the average person just another merchant/economic organization(hey, even the city believes them honest!). So therefore, we (the DMs) are publishing this statement in an attempt to set things straight: For those of you who have been here for a long while, please forget all the times some old DMs used them as scapegoats and ordinary thugs. And for those of you who played the Baldur's Gate PC game, Sarevok has yet to rise to power.

You can check out Wikipedia and Forgotten Realms Wiki, however they don't say much and it's contradictory information as well.
