Starting a new guild with a few other players. PM me if you would like to join. I will be posting more info about it a little later, just wanted to post a thread about it. Also, we are still looking for any input on this drow house so feel free to let us know of any ideas that you might have.
Edit:
Lore: Once an powerful drow house that vanished from Faerun’s underdark. Known for dealing with dark magic like most drow are, but their connection with demons and undead was great and is told to be the cause of their fall. It is told that one night many dacades ago tht all life and light from their dark palace went silent. Days before the dissapearance of House Faerdeloth, there were many enemies planning their attack. No army was lead to them thou, for the night only thing left was a stench of sulfur, the smell of the demons and devils. Since then the palace has stood unmoved by drow or other creatures for decades, for the palace was told to be cursed by Lolth. Unmoved for decades, until recently... In the most recent years rumors have spread that Faerdeloth might be returning and rising to power again, but from where they came no one knows.

It seems house Faerdeloth has taken to hiring dwarven mercenaries to fill their ranks with warriors in preparation for something. The First Son has been seen in close association with and providing payment to a certain mercenary by the name of Dilin Loderr.

ooc
hey folks i would be grateful if you would read the thread on "laws" of sshamath and pipe in with any comments or thoughts.
From the description of your quellar it would seem that the most appropriate deity for you to follow would be Kieransalee (the drow goddess of undead). If that is the case an alliance with house mal'froon would normally be verboten in a normal lolthian drow city. However in Sshamath it makes sense as a house ruled by a matron (as opposed to a patron) is unusual in Sshamath and would do anything possible to garner more power (including allying with a hated rival lolthian house). Another possibility is quellar Faerdeloth is not from Sshamath itself but has an outpost here (see post regarding this in the thread mentioned above).
Not trying to tell you how to RP your house just offering some suggestions on how to fit in with Sshamath lore.
cheers and gluck with your RPing!

Dear sister,
I am writing you this letter for I have not seeing around as of late and wanted to give you an update on the status of recent events. It seems that the city was recently invaded by surfacers but the attack was repelled. I was unable to be there in the fight for matron mother had me away on business at the time. Send a courier to find me and I shall debrief you on the events in person. Recruitment have been slow and I have begun giving incentives and training to those that I have recently recruited. I believe this will show a token of good faith and share some of the prosperity with them that our house has to offer. I have changed my recruiting standards to include those of lower power that I believe have the ability to become great assets to House Faerdeloth. I hope to see you soon for we have much to discuss.
