Ok... I would like to keep the top rank as Warden though... because I don't feel Dael is an elder It's ok to take a place in the council though. Still, I'm waiting for some RP into this. We can Warden as the highest rank. We'll either do the RP in game or I'll post something via forum. I prefer to RP IG, if you don't mind ;D Let's make Master Rialathorn a martir with the elder rank ;D

Is this still active? If so, how does one find an higher ranked druid/ranger to sponsor you?

Depends on what you are... ranger or druid? ;D If you're druid then look for Tarsakh (PriorityMale) and if you are a ranger look for Daelthrien Silverleaf (CartMid), or you can search for Cephas (ME_LESS) in both cases.

Actually followers of Mielikki can wear metals. "Clergy
The clergy of Mielikki include clerics, druids, rangers, and druid/rangers. They may be lawful good, neutral good, chaotic good, or true neutral.
Generally, druids of Mielikki take on the abilities of rangers. Unlike other druids, who are not allowed to wear metal armor, or use weapons restricted by their oaths, they may use all kinds of armor and weapons rangers normally use." -Forgotten Realms Wiki
I don't think followers of Silvanus can though.

Hi,
I'm new to the server and was wondering if there is a level requirement to become a seeker and...
I was looking to be move involved in rp on the server and was wondering if someone could send me a PM so we could arrange an encounter in game.
Or, do I just have to find Tarsakh or Cephas in game?
Thanks.

I have time to do the rp, RPing is why I play this game. I just want to be able to find the guys/girls to start, lol, the last server I played on did NOT have 30 people or more on at a time. It's quite daunting when I look at the List, thank you for your reply.
*If anyone wants to seek me out...so to speak...my toons name is Galen Glenstalker...just send me a tell or whatever if anyone wants to RP, grind, hangout, or whatever.

Is it possible to set up an "RP thread" here in the guild forum In-Character to do the introduction and see about sponsorship?
Work and RL has been real busy for me lately and my playtime limited (mostly saturdays and sundays, mid morning/afternoon.
Or, I'd like to schedule an in-game time with anyone who'd be willing to do so.
I liked doing a rp thread on the forums as well, a good way for people to rp in semi-spare time when they can't be in game.

There is a role-playing thread for the Keepers (as well as for other guilds) in the Elfsong. That is where we do most of the IC posts. I generally use the actual guild threads here for announcements, discussion, listing rules, ranks, etc., and so on.

I'll have Kiana send a message then IC in the thread then. I think it's fair to assume, that rangers/druids speak animal, wouldn't make much sense otherwise, to me at least.
Thanks for the reply, I'll type something up this evening....I enjoy rping through writing....

Dael speaks with his his bear Nevine often... I'm thinking in sending him to see a psychiatrist Sure, rangers should be able to speak to their animal companions, at least the ones attuned to nature... As there is no "animal empathy" skill in 3.5 edition I think this should be up to the player.

We (the current PC guildmaster and I) have been debating this and we've come to a conclusion. Guildmembers will not be allowed to wear metal armor even if the PC's god allows for it. The Ancient One (the guild NPC that heads the Keepers) finds the concept of mining for metals destructive to the lands and goes against his tenets and that of the Keepers. Guildmembers are "compensated" by the fact that they end up with guild specific quests and tend to have access to special items --- esp when they grow in rank within the guild. Best of all, they get more opportunities for RP. ON EDIT: Clerics within the guild must have domains that match up with their god/goddess. Guilds are heavier RP in nature and members are expected to comply. If there are any issues with existing clerics within the guild, let me know and we'll work something out.

I know I'm not a member..and probably have no place to say this...but if that is the case...Why not ban swords and axes and daggers...or any other weapon that is metallic in nature while you're at it?
