Will get you banned.
For example, I received a screenshot of a PvP incident which started out with one guy telling another after his spell hit him.
"I'll knock your F'ing teeth out Mage."
This guy is now on the one strike rule. This sort of behavior won't be tolerated. I don't care what people hear in other places or how prevalent it is. Its just not welcome here. We have kids as young as 13 playing here and this sort of language is not welcome in the least. It doesn't matter who does what to you. There is no excuse.

Is my char allowed to use..hmm.. IC cussing/cursing?
I mean like saying something "By the saggy tits of umberlee ill knock your teeth out!" or something like that?
(ill prolly get the response now that umberlee will kill me next time i come close to a puddle of water but hey! No risk no fun)
Thats important cause i dont want to land on any blacklists just cause i kept IC and didnt knew that it also falls under this rule.
Or does that whole cussing relate to "RL terms" that are pretty much OOC like the above example?

I have my characters curse. But to play it safe, I have it be PG cursing. 'Damn' is about as heavy as mine get... I prefer to find more intellectually challenging ways to get my point across than the run of the mill stuff, to keep it entertaining and kid-friendly.

Hmm.. heres a question from someone whos not a native english speaker.
How "strong" of a curse is the word "damn" actually amongst english speaking people?
I know we german use our version of it (namely "verdammt") actually so often that most people dont mind it anymore Oo

Generally, words having to do with bodily functions are bad in English. Words associated with religion - hell, damn etc - aren't so bad.

My Air Genasi swears a lot. People should be sure to notice that most curse words has been adjusted in DnD.
Hell = Hells, Nine Hells. Example: "What the hells are you on about?", or "By the Nine Hells!".
Damn = Still the same, but the variant of "God damn it!", is instead "Gods damn it!".
Nothing wrong with those two in my opinion, but yeah.. the F word is a little out of hand and shouldn't be used.

F bombs don't even make any sense in 99% of fantasy settings. it's a modern english cuss (actually it's pretty old, originating from an old english acronym. Fornication Under Consent of King) but thats beside the point. The point is it has no place in fantasy and i have always felt this way.
Just like "Yo Dawg" and "fo shizzle my nizzle" has no place in the forgotten realms -_-.
yeah... you know who you are.
I personally don't care, words are words and nothing more, and i know for fact children hear and see worse every day in school and on tv. But it is also 100% acceptable for the dev's to demand clean language on their server
I guess what I'm long windedly trying to say is, you don't have to swear to sound mean/be a jerk IC.

The thought that the f-word means "fornication under consent of king" is actually an urban legend. Read about the real origin of the word HERE.(But be advised that the usage of the word is prevalent throughout the site since the article is about the word!) The more you know.

Hm... well I'm gonna be honest, this is disappointing. Not being able to curse/cuss is a bit too restrictive, and sort of decreases the immersion.
Cussing are one of the most blunt and serious ways people can express themselves with, you likely hear it everyday. Society has always been imperfect and common folk should be allowed to use it when it comes to RP. Not every character is a highly-educated priest...
I've seen characters use curse words, and I've had no problem with it because most characters who do curse, usually do it at an appropriate situation.
Also banning people for cursing is TOO far fetched. Warn them first, kick them later and if their still doing it, then ban them.
